Wrapping stocking fillers?

Just that really! Do you wrap everything individually or just pop the things in the stocking?

I always wrap and can't imagine an unwrapped stocking. As a child the unwrapping was the best part and I know DS feels the same.

The stocking gifts aren't wrapped quite as neatly as tree gifts though.

I have never wrapped them but I will this year.

Stockings are brought into my room and opened on the bed but last year DS1 didn't really get a look at things properly because they were just emptied out.

I think it will make things a bit more special.

I always wrap them. Usually in pound shop paper and not a nearly as the presents that go under the tree.

I wrap. But in this house it's my main way of giving our dc their presents. They'll get one more under the tree from us, plus those from extended family who we always spend Christmas with.
When I was a kid the stocking presents weren't wrapped. But they were only intended to buy my parents time in bed until we could go downstairs and open the main presents under the tree.
Our dc have to wait until the afternoon.

Yep I wrap in cheap as possible paper that the kids don't need help opening (two under 4's) and it is hidden well and totally different from the wrapping for anything else.

In fact, I remove packaging from things. So a toy in a blister pack gets taken out of the blister pack so the toy is completely immediately accessible and because elves don't cover toys in plastic like Tesco's does.

Always wrapped. It takes ages - the wrapping and the unwrapping - and that's sort of the best bit.

Ours were always wrapped and my mum made very sure to buy different paper and keep it separate from our main wrapping stash because father christmas obviously had different paper! Loved unwrapping them so now we also wrap them, but tends to be a hurried christmas eve job unlike the rest of pressies done nicely with ribbons + gift tags.

No. It's not the same; it's better.

Here the dc spent time squishing each thing, sniffing, shaking etc before unwrapping and it adds to the suspense and slows them down. Gives me time to get the tree lights on, wee, stick the spiced winter muffins in the oven. By the time they get downstairs, it's all lit up and smells of Christmas.

Always wrapped in Santa paper ( hint it's the ultra cheapy sheets from the market that are just so 1970s! So I'd never admit to giving a gift in them!).

Slows things down and the squishing /sniffing/ shaking and comments of " well it rattles so it's either maltesers or Santa dropped it" etc are all part of the fun. As are the delights of teens/older kids exclaiming how " Santa" with a pointed glance must have been so clever to know what they needed/ wanted :)

Hilariously last year we had the older 2s partners for Xmas morning and stockings were done for them too, so " Santa" omitted the traditional pants. There have been heavy hints that he must make sure not to make that error again :)).

I wrap everything. Really tightly and with extra tape for stocking gifts. The kids have them in our room but it gives us extra dozing time.
Open stockings, have a wee,leave kids upstairs while we rush down to put on lights and kettle. Light candles and make it look all xmassy. Muffins would add to this I'm sure

I always wrapped, and still do. But not as carefully as with other presents. Always used different (cheaper!) paper for stockings, since Father Christmas only ever brought stocking things in this house, and even when very little dds might have wondered how come FC was using the same paper as Mummy and Daddy.

Yes, wrapped and in the same paper as the presents from the Santa list. (Other presents from us wrapped in different paper.) Lightly wrapped with minimum sticky tape so doesn't need help with each tiny thing.

Yes, in wrapping paper that has Father Christmas on and doesn't get used for anything else.
I only have one DC though. My mum said she gave up on wrapping well before having her 4th!

Always wrapped - with lots of sellotape! Including the individual boxes of coco pops in the bottom of the stocking.
The DC'S open their stockings on our bed while we sit and drink the first coffee of the day. They like to take their time and I always try and put a couple of things in they can play with immediately and keep them occupied for a bit.

I wrap everything apart from sweets.

In crappy tacky paper that I would never use so it must be Santa.
