Thank you lotus.

Does anyone know if the 20% off in m and s will include Christmas decorations? It sounds like it would be homewear to me but they might get out of it by having Christmas stuff as a seoerwte department

Another one asking how the sainsburys double up works

[clueless]

1stMrsF · 16/11/2016 20:54

Smartiecake there are a few shopkins things in the Ocado toy promos - 4 for 3 in stocking fillers and buy one get one half price, but I can't remember exactly what. I got shopkins top trumps

1stMrsF · 16/11/2016 21:01

Amazon has Taittanger NV champagne in gift box for £25.40 - not a cheap present but a fantastic price for this particular fizz if you are after that sort of thing...

HungryHorace · 16/11/2016 21:10

OK, Sainsbury's Double Up.

Decide which area(s) you want vouchers for and how much you need.

Go to customer services and have your card over. Ask to swap £x of points for alcohol / toys / seasonal vouchers (whatever you're choosing). E.g. I'm swapping £20 of points for £40 alcohol vouchers.

They print vouchers and give them to you. When you pay you hand the vouchers over and that amount gets knocked off the bill.

Polkadot1974 · 16/11/2016 21:16

Thanks for the sew cool link- for a 7 year old, for main present, is it better to get a big sewing machine? What does anyone think? 20% M&S will be great so thanks for that heads-up!

Moana123 · 16/11/2016 21:18

Thank you for the double up info! Will head to Sainsbury's tomorrow

ASpiderInTheBath · 16/11/2016 21:24

Ooh thanks for that hide, will definitely be tuning in tomorrow! 🎅🏻

Thank you jadams for the link to the elf site, they have some adorable bits on there, I have ordered a sleeping bag and Christmas jumper for our elf and an elf hat for our dd, she will love them.

Thank you reastie for another thread 💐

weebarra · 16/11/2016 21:30

And lidl are having a children's clothes offer tomorrow - looks like some nice stuff for Xmas.

Insidevoice · 16/11/2016 21:33

I appreciate this question has probably been asked a zillion times (I've lurked on some of the threads but not all 17) but does anyone, know anywhere, I can get a Hatchimal?

Just so I feel I'm contributing, Poundstretcher had a vast selection of mason jars for 79p today, including owl shaped ones and various other animal themes.

pantherfootballforever · 16/11/2016 21:38

Anyone know how returns work with Sainsburys double up? It states on T&C that you can return items within 30 days as per normal returns policy but it doesn't say anywhere whether you get cash or points back and if it's points is it another voucher for you to use or is it points back on your card?!?

I went to buy a toasted sandwich machine today and the price on the shelf said £35 so I exchanged £20 of points for a £40 voucher. I then had to find something else electrical to use the money up and bought an electric knife for £13 simply because it was the cheapest thing they had - I didn't really want it but I didn't want to waste the £5 left on the voucher. When it all went through the till (along with another £160+ of shopping) the toastie machine went through at £30 - grrr - never needed the knife in the first place - could have just done a £30 voucher!)

Anyway - I really don't want the electric knife and think I want to return it but I don't know what they will give me back. If they give me a £10 voucher back then I'll have to find something else from electrical to buy and there wasn't anything else I wanted so not really any point. If they just gave me straight points back on my card or gave me cash back then I would do it. It's just really not very clear!

MrsCocoa · 16/11/2016 21:41

Can anyone remember the on-line beauty site that was good for teen stocking fillers from one of last year's threads?

Ness1234 · 16/11/2016 21:46

1stMrsF Thanks for the link for the Champagne, a very good price.

Howmanysleepstilchristmas · 16/11/2016 21:50

Homebargains has mini paw patrol figures for 49p (ended up buying 4 as stocking fillers even though I thought I was finished) and single magic tricks for 49p

PelvicFloorClenchReminder · 16/11/2016 22:01

Thank you HungryHorace !

DailyMailDontStealMyThread · 16/11/2016 22:01

I managed to lose you all before the end of the last thread!

Cornerstones have emailed and I can add a free gel shave to my next order.

Florence Scovel, they do statement jewellery etc have a 90% sale on.

Spend £35 with Estée Lauder to receive a full size lip potion.

My daughter was late for school this morning... that is the extent of my emails today Grin

ItsNiceItsDifferentItsUnusual · 16/11/2016 22:02

Reastie I got decorations in the last 20% off at M&S, I think they're classed as home. The ones I'd chosen were 3 for 2 so with 20% on top of that it was a really good deal.

ChocolateWombat · 16/11/2016 22:02

Thanks for the M and S discount code.

And yes to anyone who has already made a big order with them....re-order at the cheaper prices and then return the new stuff with the invoice from the original, if you've already used or removed rages from original. It hinnkthey give 35 days for return but we must be in longer Christmas returns period now.

Which also means......keep your invoices from stuff ordered now, and if it goes in the sale after Christmas, you can always re-buy and return the sale stuff with the pre-Christmas invoice. Depends if you can be bothered... But for expensive items and large orders can be a big saving.

WhirlwindHugs · 16/11/2016 22:02

lovely santa shortbread tins half price now £6 at waitrose I saw someone mentioning these at the end of the kast thread and had to post a link as they are so lovely irl. There's also a snowman.

Strawberryfield12 · 16/11/2016 22:12

coldears I would rather receive instant pot that the usual boxes of toiletries and odd pieces of clothing which I am not too impressed. Bought instant pot on return back to work after maternity leave and it is one of the best things to get things ticking along. I wouldn't be impressed to get it as a Christmas present from DH, but from DSil - over the moon Smile

SpaghettiMeatballs · 16/11/2016 22:15

Would really love a £10 off £30 Biden code if anyone has one they won't use please....

smartiecake · 16/11/2016 22:18
