A little early for Christmas talk? Blush

First year single and in new home with DC and thinking that Christmas might actually be lovely. Christmas Day will be small no in-laws or my family.
(Although Stbxh welcome for as much of the day as he wants)

Will have hot chocolate and watch the snowman and the snowdog Christmas eve.

What are you looking forward to? Do you have lovely Christmas traditions?

Spending Christmas surrounded by everyone I love :)

I have adult DC and this year will be the first time for 3 years we are all together. It will be so special. I'm looking forward to it so much :)

Dressing my beautiful little dogs up as Santa and a little angel . They lavished in the attention this brought them last Christmas (and extra pigs in blankets ) They're pottering about in cosy onesies as I type .

All this talk of bread source, I love it but had forgotten about it, yum yum yum....cranberry source, pigs in blankets and possibly duck?
I love all of it - Bar Mils summons.

My oldest is now 9 and it seems like its flown by, so I want to absorb all the joys of my youngster, this will be her first totally competences year. The older doesn't even do a nativity anymore Shock

This is our first family Christmas in our own home (last year we were living with my dad, and was at my mums over Christmas).
So we are mainly looking forward to putting our own tree and decorations up, and having dinner round our own table. Just to do it in our own home will be so nice.
It was always a bit mad at my mums, so a nice relaxing Christmas and new year is in order

I'm looking forward to attempting to cook Christmas dinner again (normally DH's territory but he's unwell).

Having a glass of fizz at ridiculously-early-o-clock.

Watching DS open his presents.

Playing the new board games after dinner

After Eights and Terry's chocolate orange

Then when DS has gone to bed, having a few scoops and more chocolate.
