I'm really happy with the cornerstones package that arrived to day through the MN offer. Someone had used my referral Cade (thank you) so not only was the whole set reduced for MN from £30 to £14 they still let me use the £10 referral fee so I only paid £4!

Was looking for a nice faux fur throw for the in-laws. Kept finding them, even on the high street at £80-£120. Finally found one on QVC, by Kelly Hoppen. Only £30, but available in easy pay £15 for two months. Wasn't sure how nice it would be, but it arrived today and is gorgeous. Looks like twice the price. So while I know £30 is still a fair sum, it does look like a much more expensive luxury gift.

QOD, i found easiest way to contact Amazon for a refund was to go onto each missing order individually. Then click on the three lines at top left of screen, right at the bottom of the drop box menu is an option to contact customer services.

My missing helicopters were refunded within minutes of sending the email.

My Death Star ice cube thingy took about a month I think.

I've had very good experience with Amazon customer service, they have always sorted issues very promptlY.

Nothing major to report, but to say the Matalan Christmas microplush/ furry blankets are beautiful- smaller just fleece for £5 and beautiful giant ones for £15 with the furry stuff on one side- I want one! Is there a Book people code anywhere around? Thank you- also thanks to whoever used my Cornerstone link- I was really pleased with it and hubby says it's a great shave, so would heartily recommend

haudyerwheesht I'm a complete newbie to Pokemon cards and willing to be corrected but having spent many boring hours researching for DS's present I think I'm going to go for the new Pokémon TCG XY Evolution set cos it's basically a remake of the original 1999 set (but better!).. or maybe I was just convinced after reading this!

Just seen Strictly annual for £2.99 on Book People, as is the Match annual- both 2017 and I paid a fortune for the Strictly one last year- well £10, which is a lot in my book! (pun intended)
