Nursenat100 · 26/08/2016 08:45

Tanya if you find the adult equivalent will you let me know! Can't buy one girl without the other and suspect the tween would need an adult one

Wondermoomin · 26/08/2016 08:49

I bought those cheap Halfords princess sleeping bags off the last thread (or was it no. 1?). For such a low price, I'm keeping them, but I don't expect they will be used much. They are quite small (DDs are around 100-110cm height and look about as big as will fit in there) and the material is shiny stuff that crinkles when they move. They're delighted with their first sleeping bags though. Would be OK for occasional sleepovers, but not for a camping family imo.

VoldemortsNipple · 26/08/2016 08:55

feelingblue I bought my coconut oil at Costco £15 for 3.4kg but only because I plan on making up loads for presents and I'll need it for the body butter. But you can usually get it in most supermarkets now or if you have a European market shop close buy, they normally sell it cheaper.

You can use any bog standard olive oil you use for cooking. The recipe called for light olive oil but I think that's more for aesthetic reasons.

Ding Dong merrily on high! On one hand I have a 7yr old DS with a Xmas birthday but on the other the 'grown ups' in the family have decided to do a secret santa instead of a gift for everyone!

Postman came and I spotted a thing from Boden which was different to the usual catalogues so I raced to get my £10 off voucher & found I just had a 10% discount code. That's no good to me!
What age for the Knex stuff do you think?

brickset is a price comparison site for Lego across all the Amazon sites, shows you what's good value in yellow (a lot of the Star Wars lego kits on Amazon are really low at the moment, like the x-wing). Might be one for the next intro Reastie?

MrsCrimbo74 · 26/08/2016 11:31

For anyone doing food hampers for Christmas, Thornton's have some great deals on their factory clearance page,

www.thorntons.co.uk/thumbnail/Offers/Factory-Clearance/pc/2246/2393.uts?currentIndex=0&pageSize=32&defaultPageSize=15&mode=viewall&parentCategoryId=2246&categoryId=2393&type=thumbnail

The summer bundle one seems especially good, was £60 now only £25, if you were to split all the bits up you could make a few hampers

Captainkanga · 26/08/2016 11:43

Home bargains has those cinema light boxes in for £10 at the moment according to someone on Facebook, everyone seems to be going wild for them so thought it might be worth a mention!
