As with previously, if I have missed a link you think would be good on the list please post on here or message me. Also if a link doesn't work anymore or an offer is no longer standing please flag it up by telling me in bold .

Firefly has reported the dates for the Sainsburys 25% off clothing this year are likely to be:
23-31 August
20-26 September
25-31 October
28 Nov - 5 Dec
Then 16-22 Feb 2017

Camel camel camel is a great amazon price tracking tool here

Top cash back here is a cash back site where you get a percentage of cash back from what you buy when you shop with certain retailers. Just search the shop you want to buy something from in top cash back to see if there is a cash back offer and follow the link on the site to go to the website you want. You can then choose to have the cash back directly in your bank account or have various vouchers. I've managed about £100 in a year but many seem to accrue more maybe I don't buy enough, that's a good excuse if ever I've heard one . You have to earn something like £5 in cash back before they start sending you money. If you need insurance etc they can have great cash back offers. If you follow the link above it will earn me referral credit.

Quidco here is another cash back site like top cash back but has a different offering of shops. See info above.

We don't usually use sweets for the candy grabber (though you can get those tins of swizzles type sweets for a fiver in the supermarket), we have loads of little erasers, trash can monsters, little plastic pocket money shit stuff that's about £1 for 10 off eBay. Just make sure it's all small and light. Im going to fill DS' s with plastic toy spiders and maggots for Halloween Grin

My little pony scribble me messenger bag was £17.99 now £6.50

Long time lurker; first post on this thread. Anyone doing hampers might find some interesting bits in the sous chef sale, they do slightly more unusual produce than normal supermarkets

Coming late to this thread...place-marking!

SagaNorensLeatherTrousers · 23/08/2016 17:00

Also, if anyone sees an authentic looking, fluffy cat soft toy at a decent price, give me a shout. It's the only thing DD has mentioned wanting for a few weeks now. Mog from last year would have been perfect!

d270r0 · 23/08/2016 17:01

Thanks for that video, Zoomonkey, its lovely! Yes it would be better if it was motorised but I think they try to keep the cost down for the winter village sets. I want it but have already bought myself the Santas workshop for this year and am limiting myself to one a year- still each set is usually released for 2 years so it might be next years purchase.
Absolutely love that Disney castle! But no way at that price.

Haudyerwheesht · 23/08/2016 17:03

saga what about one from build a bear?

SagaNorensLeatherTrousers · 23/08/2016 17:05

Ooh I'll look, thanks Haud

SagaNorensLeatherTrousers · 23/08/2016 17:12

Annoying there are no cats in the 2 for £26 B-a-B offer...she adores care bears too and so one of them and a cat would have been a great deal!

GinAndSonic · 23/08/2016 17:24

Thanks for the tip on build a bear, not sure yet, as I'd have to choose the second one for DS and I don't know what he'd like.

Not sure if its been posted but poundland had dc superhero pegged shaped plush toys like these bluecyborg.com/index.php?route=product/search&search=Plush%20egg

SagaNorensLeatherTrousers · 23/08/2016 18:03

Some cheap bits here, including pyjamas and bags, stocking fillers. Love the Harry Potter onesie but they only have 8-9 years left!: www.character.com/collections/clearance?page=1

VinoTime · 23/08/2016 18:04

Campus Gifts order arrived today! Very pleased with everything. Only thing I'm a little annoyed about is a small box of nail files I bought that didn't make it into the box with the rest of the order, despite being ticked off the list. Will need to email them.

Delivery was super quick and everything was very well packaged. My Westie had great fun this morning 'swimming' around all the green foam bits in the box Grin

Have added pictures of the mermaid blanket I ordered from Twinkle Deals in case anybody was holding off on buying one without hearing/seeing about the quality. The colours look a lot brighter/bolder in the pictures than they actually are. Much more subtle in RL. Quality is fab - no bad smells detected. Just smells new.

Ah the mermaid tail blanket looks fab!

RoastieToastieReastie · 23/08/2016 19:42

Thanks for the idea of not just sweets in the grabber monkey. Does it need to be a certain size as well as light?

Bungee Bouncer

It's like a pogo stick but actually usable! Gets good reviews

Whatishappeningwithmyhead · 23/08/2016 20:35

If anyone comes across a Lego Friends backpack over the next few days can you please let me know? DD(5) starts school next week and suddenly 'needs' one ...thanks!

BicycleMadeForTwo · 23/08/2016 20:44

Whatishappening - Tesco have one here for £20 which you could click and collect before next week. There are a few on Amazon and eBay too which should arrive in time. No massive bargain ones I can see so far.

ValiumQueen · 23/08/2016 20:48

SNLT thank you. I am now £43 lighter after a peek at Character.com. I have bought from them in the past and always been very pleased with the quality. Pj's for the present cupboard and a few stocking fillers for my brood.

I am being very reserved this year and not just buying things because they are so bargainous. I have resisted the shark bed and mermaid tail. So far anyway Grin

Ratbagcatbag · 23/08/2016 20:55

I went into my local sainsburys earlier. They had loads of finding dory bits at half price but my fave bargain was an orchard games compendium of four games down from £15 to £7.50. They're excellent quality and suit from 3-6 years.
