As with previously, if I have missed a link you think would be good on the list please post on here or message me. Also if a link doesn't work anymore or an offer is no longer standing please flag it up by telling me in bold .

Firefly has reported the dates for the Sainsburys 25% off clothing this year are likely to be:
23-31 August
20-26 September
25-31 October
28 Nov - 5 Dec
Then 16-22 Feb 2017

Camel camel camel is a great amazon price tracking tool here

Top cash back here is a cash back site where you get a percentage of cash back from what you buy when you shop with certain retailers. Just search the shop you want to buy something from in top cash back to see if there is a cash back offer and follow the link on the site to go to the website you want. You can then choose to have the cash back directly in your bank account or have various vouchers. I've managed about £100 in a year but many seem to accrue more maybe I don't buy enough, that's a good excuse if ever I've heard one . You have to earn something like £5 in cash back before they start sending you money. If you need insurance etc they can have great cash back offers. If you follow the link above it will earn me referral credit.

Quidco here is another cash back site like top cash back but has a different offering of shops. See info above.

Changingagain · 23/08/2016 08:25

Had an ELC or Mothercare 20% off toys voucher for DS's birthday.

Changingagain · 23/08/2016 08:57

I'm sure someone was asking a while ago about trains to go round the tree.

I've found this one if it's any good, £20.

d270r0 · 23/08/2016 09:44

Trains for the tree- this years LEGO Winter village set is rumoured to be a Christmas train, with loads of toys on it. No details yet though, I'd also guess it will be in the region of £60-£80 full price. No bargains yet as not released yet!

Youranus · 23/08/2016 09:49

20% off at The Book People with code SUNNY20.

StubbleTurnips · 23/08/2016 09:55

d2 now that is interesting - DH would love a Lego train.

WuTangFlan · 23/08/2016 10:19

I bought some unicorn socks £3.99 for 6 pairs, they arrived yesterday and they seem to come in 2 packs of 3 pairs, so I've got 4 stocking fillers sorted instead of 2! (I got the Magic Unicorn and Ka-Pow designs, and they were both 2 packs of 3 so assuming they are all the same)

TobleroneBoo · 23/08/2016 10:30

Now I have just sat and read through a Lost My Name book i knocked up and it made me a bit teary! No DC's of my own but think they would be lovely for my cousins children. At Christmas they will be almost 4 and just over 1 - Do you think it would be a waste for the little one?

WankingZooMonkey · 23/08/2016 10:31

Those of you that have gone for the candy grabber have you seen any good offers on the type of sweets we can use in this machine?

WuTangFlan · 23/08/2016 10:33

Also Amazon has 60% off "popular culture merchandise" today - some nice t-shirts etc here: Star Wars, Marvel, DC etc.

WankingZooMonkey · 23/08/2016 10:41

For those asking about the lego train in the winter village set, here it is. Released 1/10/16 and £69.99 - not motorized though. Video on youtube, jump about 30 secs in to see the train.

Lunar1 · 23/08/2016 10:54

I can't believe they would make that train but not motorise it! I'd have bought it without question if it worked.

Catanddogmake6 · 23/08/2016 10:59

Lunar I think it is possible to motorise it from the review I read. Presume you need to use a technics motor pack - that's my DH and DD1s thing. I just avoid dusting what they produce.

WuTangFlan · 23/08/2016 11:15

cat gloves £1.82

Lunar1 · 23/08/2016 12:14

I've had a look too cat, there does seem to be a parts list to motorise it! Anyone know where we can preorder it from?

EnglishRose1320 · 23/08/2016 13:06

Ooh lots of shopping done today, thanks wutangflan, ordered cat gloves and cookie mirror. Also did a book people order and an I want one of those order!

Got this for my ds, looks fun spy pen was £29.99 now £9.99

Also I don't know anything about headphones so may be no good but I think someone asked about beats, they have some manufacturers refurbished ones for £55 but I have no idea if that's any good
beats

Flufflepuff · 23/08/2016 13:18

Lego train looks amazing - apparently will be on pre-release from September 15th for "VIPs" (or loyalty card holders) on the Lego store.

Also not a bargain (£289!!) but their new Disney Castle is available now to the VIPs and will go on general sale in September. I want one!
