What do you really want?

I've had a pretty rubbish year with my husband merrily running up a load of debt without me knowing.

In the depth of it all (with two small children in the mix too), I've certainly lost a bit of myself.

I know that people will soon start asking what I want and I have no idea who I even am but would really like to be able to ask for really selfish, just for me presents.

So, after that long ramble, what do you really want for Christmas?

Parents who love me and my dh and dcs. They'd be fun, happy and pleased to be with us. They would kind and helpful. There would be funny stories and warm laughter. They would delight in their grandchildren and look at them with a mixture of pride and amazement.

A lily flame candle tin or two
Some dove spa toiletries
Hand cream (not a floral / scented type, just white, but luxurious feeling!)
A couple of books (British library crime classics maybe, or a cookery book- JO Superfood family favourites, Tanya bakes)
Paper chase diary
Pjs
Boots voucher to treat myself to new make up

Sorry it's been a rubbish time op, hope you sort things out.

Peace in my house
My dsis stepping up to the mark and helping me deal with my DM rather than me travelling over 400 miles when dsis lives 100 miles away
Cancelling Xmas!

On a more achievable option:
Nice candles
Nice wine
Good books
Spa day

Ooh I love reading everyone's wish lists...

My house is up for sale so for Christmas is like to be able to sell it...we've had a bit of a crap year too this year (well year and half really) it would be lovely to get a fresh start by looking for a new home in 2017.

janethegirl2 · 11/08/2016 22:37

A black Labrador would be good, I didn't think of putting it on my wish list.

RumAppleGinger · 11/08/2016 22:37

A chocolate orange, a bottle of rum and a book.

And if someone wants to spend silly money on me I really like this clock.

What do you really want?
ifcatscouldtalk · 11/08/2016 22:42

jane I recently met 9 week old black labs and my heart melted. Been told they are real chewers but not put me off at all. Smile.

janethegirl2 · 11/08/2016 22:48

My parents had black labs and I've always wanted one, but until I give up work it's not fair to have one. But I will definitely get one when I retire.

FreeFromHarm · 11/08/2016 22:57

A lab we had years ago chew the front off of my washing machine, still love them though ...
Some lovely posts ,
Making me feel all cosy and safe 💐

FreeFromHarm · 11/08/2016 22:58
