What time do YOU put the filled stockings/ presents at the end of the bed

Have had no problems in the past with the dc waking at a reasonable hour to open their stockings but this year they are more excited than ever (5yo and 3yo) and have been waking an hour earlier than usual each day this month just to open their advent calendar! Worried that I'll be starting Christmas at 3am if I leave it out too soon

I got to bed at 2am... Madthing2 was up at 4:40am.... It's going to be a long day.

I managed to get the stocking in about 11.30 (at end of bed). DD 3 got up st 5.45, walked past it, came into bed with us for a cuddle and woke at 6.30 saying "mummy I don't think Santa has been"...DH and I leaped out of bed to get her to go check the stocking as we were so worried there would be tears!!!

DH does it, cos I can stand the pressure

Ha, this is me all over! 2 dc aged 7 and 5. Ds1 would sleep through a bomb so no concerns there. Ds2 is a very light sleeper though and placing his stocking at the end of the bed is the worst thing about Christmas for me. Dh does it whilst i stand outside wringing my hands and being no help at all lol
