How is your Elf arriving?

Ours is crash landing!!!!

Ours was sitting on top of a basket, in the window by the front door, with the Christmas books, advent calendar and a couple of LED candles waiting for the children when they got home from school. She was clutching a long letter full of her news since her last visit. Then the children made her a lovely bedroom out of a cardboard box.

Ours also ballooned in with breakfast. She didn't bloody wash up though. Can we keep this thread going all December to keep up with all the Elves' antics please :)

Our Elf was several days late last year because he had to supervise and train the new elves. He'd disappear a few days at a time to carry out his new responsibilities too. It had nothing to do with forgetting to get him out the loft , or getting my head around my new job He even wrote us a letter with some choc coins.

Ours woke dc up in the middle of the night as he was just excited to wait !

In the afternoon he had left a lettler from santa and some marshmellows and hot chocolate.

Looking forward to seeing other peoples ideas.

Ours climbed through the letterbox and got stuck. He was found hanging from it by his foot, poor thing!

He's a very naughty elf though, he has form for breaking and entering!! He gets sent away from the North Pole because he is so naughty! DD and the mindees love his antics.

Ours was in my welly boot when ds got back from nursery. He started saying he wanted a parcel for himself as I'd just picked one up so I told him to wish hard and Santa might send something!

Yes we can keep it going. Maybe post pics of your elf daily!

Here's our elf this morning.
The 9 yr old is questioning the whole santa/elf thing but the 6yr old is loving the elf.

This is dd1s (11) 1st year in on it, so I've let her do one last night. This is the result lol.

Last night our Elf decided to vandalise the pictures!

nevernick he's from NOTHS and he is beautiful. He has little Velcro tabs on his hands which means he can hang off things

We are of Scandinavian heritage and so have both St. Nick and Santa. St. Nick brings our elf with him on the night of the 5th. DD always said that she thought that St. Nick and Santa were brothers so this makes sense to her. Anyway, St. Nick leaves our elf in various places along with a letter from Santa. DD is pas believing but she still enjoys playing along.

I requested our elf too late for the 1st but she'll be climbing in through the letter box!

I love looking at others' elves and getting new ideas. Heres tomorrows installment. There's festive hair grips/slides and bobbles for the little ones and christmas earrings for dd1.

Thanks President. He looks great! I find the original ones a bit creepy (dolls always freak me out in films!) but he is perfect. I will try to get one for next year if he's not back in stock this week.
