Oh, and lots of them like the ladies t'shirts and pyjamas you can get in Primark. The more fun novelty ones like Minions, Harry Potter or Coca Cola. I asked some of them about the sizes and they all said they just buy a size 6 and wear it oversized.
I saw some great Coca Cola pyjamas in there today. And they have lots of flavoured lip balms too.

Oh my goodness! Thank you so much everyone! I could not have asked for more. Really, thank you.

yumyumpoppycat · 12/11/2015 22:04

yourewifenow Sad Flowers - maybe it would be worth a post in bereavment. I was thinking a sort of celebratory photobook of her christmases, or maybe a star for the tree? Really difficult maybe just things DMIL likes is a better option,

Have promised to take a friend to dunelm Sir Niall those sacks look excellent for the price.

Poundland ones look good too, I could just get a sack and a fancy stocking! Maybe I could get a couple of the £1 ones as present carrying devices for delivering presents to wider family....

Thanks all xx

todayisabeautifulday · 12/11/2015 22:13

Yumyum I find your idea of a star for the tree really touching. If I manage to get a tree organised this year I will put one for all my loved ones who have passed away. Thank you for that.

ihatethecold · 12/11/2015 22:14

Gutted I've missed the New Look flash sale. Sad

caffeineanddryshampoo · 12/11/2015 22:19

PamelaEwing · 12/11/2015 22:23

prizepudding that hamper kit from home bargains sounds great!! If only we had a home bargains near us, so envious of all the bargains that I miss out on by not having one nearby :(

I'll have a look on eBay and see if there is anything similar and failing that, will look at Lidl in the coming weeks for their festive cellophane.

Petal7 · 12/11/2015 22:23

Thanks for sharing, Capucine. Still giggling over your Hotel Chocolat comments...

PjDay · 12/11/2015 22:31

Notgoodtogo, the sacks are really decent quality, not much thinner than our NOTHS ones I paid £16 for the other year!

PinkSquash · 12/11/2015 22:34

15% off at New Look with code VCF&F15 valid until 15/11 Not valid on sale items

mrslebon · 12/11/2015 22:49

Someone further up (Pigleychez?) asked about the M&S musical tins. No, they are not Christmas tree shaped. They are penguin themed this year.

mrsdiddlydoo · 12/11/2015 23:04

8 pages in a day!! Thanks for the new thread reastie

GeekyQueen · 12/11/2015 23:10

Has anyone had any luck with codes for The Works? I've tried a few different 20% off codes, including the one listed in the OP, but although they show as applied, nothing changes on the total to pay.

Iggi999 · 12/11/2015 23:12

Thanks you so much for the mug advice! If I could get them for £1.50 I would be very happy. I did look in Primark today but no joy.
Big box of 3 for 2 gifts from boots in front of me - wish I'd remembered to write down who I was ordering each bit for Blush

waitrosefizz · 12/11/2015 23:33

Geeky that happened to me when I tried to order the Mr Men box set but the PLAY20 code worked perfectly with train sets. I couldn't make sense of it either.

trixymalixy · 12/11/2015 23:36

There are Xmas tree shaped musical biscuit tins in M&S. They are not as nice as in previous years though so I won't be buying one. They're also not on yet.

GerrardWinstanley · 13/11/2015 01:17

Looking for inspiration. I've been really poorly and off work for a few weeks and I want get a present for the person in my team who has kept things going in my absence. He's still doing half my job now, as well as his own, while I'm on a phased return. So I want to get him a thank you christmas present - budget£30ish. He has recently moved in with his girlfriend so was trying to think of a nice couples thing I could get. Any ideas?

LadyFuchsiaGroan · 13/11/2015 01:34

waitrosefizz - on the Works website it says that you cant apply discount codes on the mr men boxset so I waited for a few Book People codes and ordered it from there instead for £21.50 Grin
