I wish there was a way to be on this thread without having to write shameless place marking.

Iggi999 · 12/11/2015 19:08

I'm trying to find a set of four Xmas themed mugs for a family, has anyone seen any nice ones in shops? I thought of personalised ones but they come in at a tenner each, need £5 each max really Sad

YoureAllABunchOfBastards · 12/11/2015 19:12

Yay for new thread!

Romcom · 12/11/2015 19:14

Flash sale off new look tonight. 7-10pm, code is FLASH20

NaturalBlondeYeahRight · 12/11/2015 19:14

iggy I've seen so many mugs! Depends what sort you are after, I got 4 posh Spode Xmas tree mugs in TK maxx for 2.99 or 3.99 each the other day. They have a good range at this time of year. Sainsburys have some nice Xmas mugs with robins. Matalan have initial mugs, would be a nice 'family' present even though not Christmassy.

missqwerty · 12/11/2015 19:14

For the person that asked for yankee candles, I've had 2 large Jars from Amazon recently, paid no more then £15 each delivered.

todayisabeautifulday · 12/11/2015 19:15

Ihatethecold why don't you 'watch' it?

WhirlwindHugs · 12/11/2015 19:17

50% off the live fast die young range at magpie, code FAST

I really want one of those m&s tins even though they're not on the list...

midgeymum2 · 12/11/2015 19:21

Not sure about strictly Christmas themed maybe but this range from whittards is nice, quite festive but would do throughout the year really. They've got 20% off full price items too with 'FRIENDS' . Delivery is quite expensive though, unless you are near a store and can click and collect.

yumyumpoppycat · 12/11/2015 19:28

Thanks fabflo will check matalan out for stockings Flowers

itsonlysubterfuge · 12/11/2015 19:28

iggi I got these from Costco, can't remember how much they were, I think around £15-20, but you also get plates.

yumyumpoppycat · 12/11/2015 19:31

Oh no matalan have the initials for two of the children but not the middle child (typical ;) )

WoahBodyforrrrm · 12/11/2015 19:32

fuze wheel writer

Another thread just reminded me of this. I got it for my son a few years ago and paid nearly double the price for it. It's good fun and an extra safety device. If makes a good stocking filler for this price!

OSETmum · 12/11/2015 19:34

iggi asda have Christmas themed mugs for £1.50!

outputgap · 12/11/2015 19:45

Apologies if already mentioned, but Gap has sliding scale of discounts with cheersgap code. Starts at 25% for £50 spend. Ends tomorrow.

GeekyQueen · 12/11/2015 19:48

Rummaging around poundland today, lots of Dreamworks bits and some Mister Master modelling clay - might prove useful stocking fillers.

Also picked up novelty Christmas salt and pepper pots.

Oh, also some lovely Winnie the Pooh short stories.

Almost done with stockings, woop!

PamelaEwing · 12/11/2015 19:49

Got this £1 (empty) beer crate from Poundland today with a view to making something like this for DH (pic was from FB yesterday). The crates were quite hidden at the back of a bottom shelf so I had to search a bit for them.

Also I've noticed that M&S and Matalan are not showing a very broad range of stock online when they have discount days/promotions running. I made a list of things I wanted whilst instore at Matalan recently with a view to going home and buying them online with a code, but surprisingly none of my items were available online Shock

I suppose after Sainsburys I have 0% chance of a bargain on MOG books, DH (not a typo!) has just announced they are his favorite ever. The man has a degree in English Literature FFS
