Just noticed that toysrus have a buy one get one half price offer on mlp, for anyone still looking for mlp toys:

Hangingbasket14 · 15/11/2015 09:55

I don't think Boden sends them if you shop frequently......

gruffaloshmuffalo · 15/11/2015 09:59

None of my Ali express things have arrives yet, well, aside from the Katherine Kidston bag and it's beautiful.

The Studio castles arrived and the invoice shows I have to pay £9.99 which is good.

Now I'm just looking for a small gift for my grandparents. They're quite young, and still work full time. Like line dancing, Jack Daniels, and genealogy. Just if anyone has an idea :)

cookiefiend · 15/11/2015 10:25

Depending on where you are gruffalo, something like this may be good. It is membership to the Scottish genology society I think it is about £20 for the year and gives them access to classes and online genealogy databases I think. If you are not in Scotland there may be a better local equivalent.

Pobspits · 15/11/2015 11:24

Bloody Brian the robots are going for more than I'm willing to pay. Humph!

outputgap · 15/11/2015 11:38

Argos has an allegedly half price sale on some toys, but for a lot of the stuff I'm familiar with, I can't see any real discount.

margaritasbythesea · 15/11/2015 11:55

Oh no chips. Hope snuggly baby makes up for it a bit. ??

poppetina · 15/11/2015 12:13

I went to collect my Argos delivery this morning, they were having a bit of a nightmare. System was down in store, a delivery hadn't arrived yesterday, customers coming in saying the website wasn't working for them. Anyway, the lady gave me a 10% off a home delivery order of DELIVER10 to apologise, which I thought might be useful. Looks like a multiple use code so hope it helps someone. :)

SideOrderofChips · 15/11/2015 12:19

Mini chips and his sisters more than make up for it Grin

MooseyMoo · 15/11/2015 12:37

Neals Yard have free delivery, ends 9am Mon 16th

GardenWorm · 15/11/2015 13:11

Can anyone recommend a decent game for the Wii U (apart from Mario Cart 8). It's for a 7 year old girl who is competitive and likes football if that helps?!

babsmam · 15/11/2015 13:54

Natural no voucher codes but bhs are having an up to 30% off weekend at the moment

ChillyChillyIcebat · 15/11/2015 14:06

Garden Worm

If she's playing by herself LEGO City Undercover is a good experience, it's like grand theft auto for kids with none of violence etc.

If she is playing online against others then Splatoon was this years big release, it's an online shooter, where bullets are replaced by paint.

Pikmin 3 and Zelda windwalker, are both kid friendly immersive single player games.

For something more platform based super mario's 3D worls gets good reviews and can be played with others.

IHopeYouStepOnALegoPiece · 15/11/2015 14:13

I need ideas for a 13yo boy (have never met him, it's part of the met police Xmas appeal)

Budget is ideally £10/15 but absolutely no more then £20

Any ideas?!

FabFlo · 15/11/2015 14:14

Thank you sub for the nutella code Flowers

I went to two different Tesco superstores this morning. One had no MLP knickers and the other only had sizes up to 2-3. I don't think I'm destined to have MLP knickers this Christmas Sad

woodwaj · 15/11/2015 14:23

Argos code didn't work for me :( but got a a Hey Duggee on the way Grin

HideHide · 15/11/2015 14:26

Aliexpress has some lovely Stella & Dot bits on there for cheap cheap cheap always knew it was massively overpriced

ShoppingBasket · 15/11/2015 14:27

This is not a bargain but I just want to tell someone that will appreciate this. I just got a 2ds with Mario kart for £23 using my boost tesco points and I also get topcashback :)
My husband doesn't get it!

AlbusPercival · 15/11/2015 14:38

Thank for the Met link Mrs Death, have been given an age and gender to donate to.

soundstrue · 15/11/2015 14:48

Gardenworm, how about splatoon. My 7 year old DD loves that game.

Mum2Nat · 15/11/2015 14:49

Fabflo - sorry, don't know if this has been mentioned already. Asda have MLP knickers, I got my little girl some the other week. Currently only have 10-11 online but may have more in store? Good luck!

randomcatname · 15/11/2015 14:51
