Mine do not have any requests, which is a first.

DD1 just tells me she can't think of anything and DD2 just wants 'surprises'.

I shall keep an eye on things they seem interested in and pick up some bits and pieces for them, but neither of them will have a 'big' present it seems this year.

OP posts:
Makemineacabsauv · 06/11/2015 22:51

DS (13) XBox one, anything beginning with 'I' - iPod, iMac, iPad, etc etc

DS (12) Mac makeup, benefit make up, iPod, iPad, iPhone...,

Hmmmmmm... Missing the Peppa Pig days!!!

Makemineacabsauv · 06/11/2015 22:52

Nancy75, dd's machine lives at my mums!!! She uses it there as I am useless!!

unlimiteddilutingjuice · 06/11/2015 23:01

Ds(3)- more Brio track. When hes playing with his trains ypu can hear him saying, under his breath- "Favver Cwismas come an bringa more twack"
He is a very lucky boy because his grandad has rendered the station from Dinosaur train, Brio sized for him and built him a time tunnel.
He is also getting: 2 Shliech dinosaurs (Carnotaurus and Paradaulophus), ELC Brachiasaurus, Dinosaur storybook and wall chart (thank you Poundland!) and a Dinosaur onesie.

fuzzpig · 06/11/2015 23:26

DD would like Monster High anything (got a frightmare horsey thing as it was cheaper than the actual dolls which she has plenty of anyway), her own Percy Jackson book, clothes and a Van Gogh picture. And lego but that goes without saying :o

DS just wants transformers (and again, lego)

Pipestheghost · 06/11/2015 23:30

Dd wants shopkins, and anything shopkins related. The easier Christmas list I've ever had Grin

Pobspits · 06/11/2015 23:31

Ds wanted Fifa 16 for the PS3 but he saved his holiday money and bought it which was admirable but annoying!!!

He's asked for a fancy lightsaber and 2 footballs (2 more to join the eleventy million we have) and some new Star Wars figures. He's turning 9 at Cmas so it's a bit of a double whammy presents wise.

Dd (5) has asked for a wiggly scooter (Flicker), some polly pocket to add to her collection, Barbie stuff and some dressy up shoes. All fine apart from the dressy up shoes - her feet are size 13 and I can't find any toy dressing up shoes big enough. She doesn't want just party shoes or anything she wants cheap plastic montrosities!!! Help?

TheScottishPlay · 06/11/2015 23:32

DS (11) wants Xbox games, Star Wars books and a beanie hat.

OneNightTimeMenaceStrikesBack · 07/11/2015 00:53

a laptop which he knows he's getting but he also knows he won't be getting much else as it's such a big, expensive present. other than that he'll get the usual pjs, few books, smellies, and the last season of futurama. I know he'll be over the moon with what he does get. It's rare he asks for anything all year round, even for his birthday so I don't mind splashing out at christmas for him. He's going to be thrilled by the laptop and I know he won't bemoan the lack of a big pile of presents. He's a very good boy and he knows even Mum has limitations even though she tries her best Smile

crispytruffle · 07/11/2015 01:11

I asked DS (8) and he said a computer and an xbox!
So far I've already got him lots of Minecraft figure sets, Lego, board games, 3DS games and books.

DD (6) wants Shopkins, a Frozen Castle, the Sofia the 1st castle. Bought it all during the Sainsbury toy sale.

kazzaF21 · 07/11/2015 01:47

We have a budget of £145 per child.

DS (10) Said he wants......

A Green BMX Bike (we bought this - £60 off Tesco Direct. His brother has the same branded bike. It is cheap and decent)!

Lego Simpsons Kwik-e-Mart. His brother is also massively into The Simpsons - having this joint, as expensive. This is £170. Just ordered it.

He also wants the Guinness World Records 2016 - hoping a family member will ask, as refuse to go over budget!

Stocking Fillers so far: Choc. coins and Simpsons minifigure.

DS (9) Here comes the financially ambitious!.......

Mario Maker and the WiiU-endless £££££, so no.
Lego Jurassic World Indominus Rex Breakout-researched at £99.99! He just had his birthday and I bought him a £30 Jurassic World set then. However, he is having the Kwik-e-Mart joint with his brother, which he wants too, so no.
Red Mario DS-He has a DS, so no point.
His own computer-the family one is just fine,so no.
Mario clothes-I can get these other than Christmas presents.
Blue tooth headphones - Yes! I will get these soon!
Aqua Seadragons-Bought, but not asked for, but I think he will love it!

I then have £50 left to play with, so thinking cap on.

So worried he will be disappointed Christmas Day Hmm

Stocking Fillers so far: Choc.coins and Simpsons minifigure.

DD (5) surprisingly not asked for a lot, but is tempted by adverts, as others say!.......

Not asked for but bought.....

A decent stunt scooter-(will not fall apart, as her brother has a sturdy stunt scooter).

A rainbow projector-(thought she'd love this).

I then have £85 left to play with, so thinking cap on.

Stocking Fillers so far: Choc. coins

Sorry, carrying on!

Regarding the dressing up shoes-have you tried the Disney store? My daughter is 5 and has a couple - Snow White and Belle ones. I'm not sure about the sizing I'm afraid. She is a 10., but I'm sure they go bigger. they are approx. anywhere between £13-£18ish, but last, so well worth it. x

scrivette · 07/11/2015 01:58

4 year old DS wants a jet wash and a life jacket. Presumably the life jacket is incase he floods the garden with the jet wash.

Last year he wanted his own 'little hose' which he got.

He is getting Paw Patrol toys.

Solo · 07/11/2015 02:15

My Ds is 17, so slightly different in terms of 'wants' really, but he has now already had his request as it was a replacement screen and bits for his phone (and the new screen doesn't work!!! Angry). He'll get a few bits like new boxers and t shirts that he isn't expecting and will hate because 'pants and socks shouldn't be a part of a Christmas box Mum' Hmm.

Dd will be 9 on Boxing Day and has put a ring around half a dozen things in the Argos book, but she won't be getting them.

She wants the Diary of a Wimpy Kid set which I will get her, but I've had to give her the choice of continuing with her after school dance club for a year (£160) or having plastic tat toys. I think she'll go with dance and I've got her some bits and pieces and new onesies as she's outgrown hers, so she'll have some bits to open on the day.

Really tight Christmas this year again.

OneNightTimeMenaceStrikesBack · 07/11/2015 02:22

solo that sounds like plenty still Thanks

I hope i haven't made anyone feel bad with my whole, oh yes ds is getting a laptop for Christmas. I've saved most of the year to be able to buy it for him. if i hadn't he wouldn't be getting it as i wouldn't be able to afford it otherwise.

Babbafish · 07/11/2015 03:50

Ds1 age 8 .... Anti gravity car and telescope
Dd1 age 4 barbie ride and saddle
Ds2 age 6 .... Disabled and non verbal .... Who knows?????

shouldwestayorshouldwego · 07/11/2015 04:00

Dd1(10) wants a cat book. Dd2(8) wants architecture stuff and a gadget. Ds(6) has yet to declare.

thenewaveragebear1983 · 07/11/2015 05:03

DS age 3 wants a black fish in a fish tank fuelled by granny who keeps taking him out to garden centres even though we have 3 cats. He's having a scalextric.
Dd age 12 wants 'stuff' but nothing pink, floral, girly, clothes-related or toiletries. So.....?
dS age 6 weeks isn't getting anything, just a small token from Santa, and family presents.

Wheelerdeeler · 07/11/2015 08:11

Ds (7) Wants an xbox one but talked him out of it. He's getting a kindle fire 7 (49.99) instead.

Rockinghorse123 · 07/11/2015 08:20

DS1 (3) wants a piano and a drum damn you playschool and your bloody music time Grin so I'm getting him the ELC key boom board. DS2 is only 3m so will be getting things he needs like vests wrapped up.

Incidentally ELC have 20% off this weekend if anyone has anything they need to buy Smile

xalyssx · 07/11/2015 08:30

DS 3 wants a piano from Santa and Thomas stuff from me.
DS 1 dances all the time so Santa is bringing a leapfrog dance thing, and I am getting him some ITNG toys and some duplo.

hippoherostandinghere · 07/11/2015 08:30

They are allowed to request 3 things. DS 6 has asked for mario maker wii u, lego joker land and a hex bug set.

DD has asked for disney princess guess who, a disgust doll from inside out and a Tinkerbell doll that blows bubbles.

DD'S requests are significantly cheaper!

PrincessHairyMclary · 07/11/2015 08:48

RockingHorse I brought DD this Piano when she was 2 it's still going strong and she is a very tall 6 year old. It really is very lovely and has lots of play potential as they get older and can use the colour coded song book. It is made from a high gloss wood/MDF not plastic and is very solid and robust.

PrincessHairyMclary · 07/11/2015 08:53

Sorry I meant xalyssx above.

solo Diary of a Wimpy Kid Boxset is only £9.99 here.

Troika · 07/11/2015 12:06

9yo: kindle, clothes, and books (both kindle and real)
8yo: ps4

They're both getting what they want. 8yo's is a joint birthday and xmas present and is getting nothing else from us or immediate family. (is still getting stocking and one present from father Christmas). He's adamant that he is fine with that but I think he'll be a bit disappointed at not having things to open when it comes down to it. The ps4 came with 4 games so I'm taking those out and wrapping them separately, thinking of giving him the console and one game to open on his birthday and the other games at Christmas.

Troika · 07/11/2015 12:08

thenewaverage, could you maybe get him a black robofish?
