That's a bugger Girl, I got 3 of the essentials sets and just had a quick flick through a couple of other items so assumed it was everything.

saladfingers · 08/11/2015 20:25

RJNomaaargh that's a interesting idea! :-)

saladfingers · 08/11/2015 20:26

Sorry an interesting idea! :-)

backinschool · 08/11/2015 20:46

I'm building up quite a collection of playmobil parcels too and I am already starting to think about which sets I can put away for birthdays. Luckily I have 2 DDs who both play with it most days (although I may still be more excited than them Blush). I have the playground, horse show, tent, playgroup (mostly for the babies which DD2 loves), little train, penguins and 2 advent calendars but I still keep looking at the pool and almost twitching Blush. I've bought them throughout the year when they were heavily reduced but its still getting silly.

The stuff they have so far is all fairies and pirates so I hope this stuff is as popular and well used.

Littlemousewithcloggson · 08/11/2015 20:47

Smyths have got Clever Keet for £42.99 which is a lot cheaper than the £60 it seems to be elsewhere.
Listed as one of the must have toys for Christmas if anyones after one

Meh. You post ugly slippers don't be surprised if someone tells you they are ugly.

peaz · 08/11/2015 20:59

Dancingqueen- these folk do lovely bags: www.sophiaandmatt.co.uk/

bookbook · 08/11/2015 21:06

Dancing queen - anything like these?

www.brollied.com/photographic-umbrellas.html?umbrella_type=295

are you looking for a photographic style washbag?

Strawberryfield12 · 08/11/2015 21:29

emgee butts bees shouldnt be left behind! We might end up featuring on weekly discussions email next Friday with our shits, pus and butts Grin

Chocolateteabag · 08/11/2015 21:32

Dancing have you looked at Amara living for wash bags this Orla Kierly one looks lovely and they usually have either new registration offers or subscribe to their emails and get 20% off

Oh and lots of things shared on this thread don't float my boat - I don't call them out though as its just a waste of a post when there are more bargains to be shared

SpottyTheDogWink · 08/11/2015 21:45

I thought it was agreed chat was allowed?

Are we now to censor that chat? You might not want to call out ugly gifts but I will defend your right to do so Wink

ihatethecold · 08/11/2015 21:54

Peaz and Bookbook
Great links.
The fab thing about this thread is you find out about all sorts of obscure websites and shops.

MamaTeeTee · 08/11/2015 21:56

I have an ishoo. DS(4) has requested a boat with a crane. The only one I can find is the playmobil cargo ship and I can only find it from a 3rd party seller on Amazon for 120 sheets!
Any suggestions? DS isn't fussy. As long as it's a ship with a crane and preferably a bell. He says "if it hasn't got a bell though then that's absolutely fine".
Oh dear

RJnomaaaaaargh · 08/11/2015 21:56

I think chats allowed but it's just downright rude to call something someone is getting for their husband ugly. It's absolutely fine not to like it but no need to comment?

SpottyTheDogWink · 08/11/2015 22:08

I commented because I am allowed to.

Report the post if you don't like it.

Other than that you cannot censor me.

Sometimes you have to be cruel to be kind

PjDay · 08/11/2015 22:13

This thread is seriously lacking in Christmas spirit this month Xmas Sad.

On a cheerier note, home bargains had mlp blind bags for 99p today, normally £2.

trixymalixy · 08/11/2015 22:19

Ha ha, my DH has those slippers. I think the picture of them on that website makes them look uglier than they are.

PinkSquash · 08/11/2015 22:20

What's kind about your post? It was just gleeful bitching.

Thankfully you're in the minority!

fluffysox15 · 08/11/2015 22:20

I've just ordered these for all my Aunties. Large Dove Gift sets reduced to £4.25. Ordered those and a few lynx sets at £3.25 each so I got free delivery. I know a gift set isn't ever bodies cup of tea but I personally love Dove and I also got them some lovely Thornton choccies each so I'm sure they will be pleased!

WoahBodyforrrrm · 08/11/2015 22:21

No ones trying to censor anyone spotty but the OP never asked for opinions on the slippers, she merely posted a good offer she'd found incase it helped someone else out which is the whole idea of the thread

You gave your unasked for opinion and it was rude. I'm not sure what you mean by being cruel to be kind, your opinion on her husbands slippers is irrelevant.

RJnomaaaaaargh · 08/11/2015 22:22

There are lots of things we are "allowed" to do that the majority of us choose not to die to social norms. With maturity we develop the ability to self -censor out of consideration for other people's feelings. Especially in an environment like this thread which is about helping each other.

If you don't have the ability to do that fair enough but don't expect it to go unnoticed. Or is that what you're after, a wee bit of attention after a difficult weekend?

I was in b and m bargains today and they had four packs of coca cola lip smackers for £2.98 which is a great price.

And whoever was looking for coca cola pjs, tescos have ladies ones for £15.

fluffysox15 · 08/11/2015 22:23

Wow that is a bit rude about the slippers, no need!

mrslebon · 08/11/2015 22:29

Just catching up on the thread and pissing myself at butt's bees and bargain pus! Grin
