little what about knex? I'm thinking of this for my slightly younger ds as it gets great reviews.

ReluctantCamper · 25/10/2015 21:32

Flowers to PJDay , just got DH his bargain converse from La Redoute for half price (£25) plus a free scarf and bracelet using code 1895. Plus a nice bit of cash back too!

Pigleychez · 25/10/2015 21:35

Mak

I got the DD's pink ones from Ebay. They came from China so took a few weeks but look great and were super cheap! cant remember the exact seller but they were the same as
these.

They wore them for a family photo shoot and looked great. A year on they still look good and DD2 even wears hers to ballet.

GirlWithTheYellowHat · 25/10/2015 21:36

My local co-op had bottle of pink Lanson down to £28 instead of £38. Bought them both for my mum as she's wants them. Possibly due to the area of the shop they hadn't sold! Shock

PjDay · 25/10/2015 21:38

Neeko I was hanging out in Sainsburys spending far too much money... but I did get some bargain candles down to £1.35 from £4!

Trumpton · 25/10/2015 21:38

Tesco say they will open Christmas Delivery priority slots on 26thnovember .

PjDay · 25/10/2015 21:39

Glad to help Reluctant.

Whatabout · 25/10/2015 21:42

OCT4FOR3 on Amazon groceries gets you four for the price of three. Nice hot chocolate, thorntons and various things that could be good gifts included. Can't link to it as its on the app.

RJnomaaaaaargh · 25/10/2015 21:44

I only made it to the gym, the carpet shop and asda today (despite vowing never to set foot in our local asda again dd2 wanted an asda only my little pony). Sounds like we've had most of the local retail places covered!

Btw is it true we as getting a home bargains and an m and s food next to Costa?

snowgirl1 · 25/10/2015 21:44

If anyone's DCs are into playmobil and pirates, I've just spotted this pirate ship which is reduced from £24.99 to £14.99 on Amazon. It's showing at £24.99 on the playmobil site so it doesn't seem to be an inflated amazon price.

esiotrot2015 · 25/10/2015 21:51

I can't find the sloe gin on amazon can anyone link?

ItsaTenfromDen · 25/10/2015 21:54

ThatsNotMyHouseItIsTooClean · 25/10/2015 22:00

Mak I just got my DD a gorgeous skirt from Belle Vintage. It was £25 so not a bargain but gorgeous & should last her a while. She adores it.

Onelittlepiglet · 25/10/2015 22:02

Makstout H&M have some lovely tulle skirts in right now.

Not strictly Christmassy but I saw these skull garlands on the TKmaxx website in black and silver they are only £5 in the sale. Good for to see weekend!

CRtester · 25/10/2015 22:04

There was a poster earlier asking about tablet deals. Just spotted this, which I think is pretty good:
www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/1388381.htm?storeId=10151&referredURL=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.argos.co.uk%2Fstatic%2FProduct%2FpartNumber%2F1388381.htm%3F&cjsurferid=877402950402003329%3AEKKhJg3TB8Nr&referrer=COJUN&_%24ja=tsid%3A11674%7Cprd%3A1546795&cmpid=COJUN&catalogId=10001

I have a nexus and love it.

Alternatively, it might be worth waiting for the black Friday deals. I managed to buy dh an iPad mini for £149 from John Lewis, which saved me £50.

Kacie123 · 25/10/2015 22:05

I ordered one of the discount Thorton hampers before spotting gone-off date when it arrived, I emailed them and they said...

"We do offer a no quibble exchange policy in any of our stores, so if you would like to return the items with the short best before dates to your local store, they will be more than happy to provide you with replacements with a better date."

So hopefully the three that will be out of date by December can be replaced! Smile

poppetina · 25/10/2015 22:11

snowgirl thanks for the playmobil tip, I've just bought that for DS.
And bimblywimble (hope I've got that right!), thanks for recommending the house you can build. My DH is in the construction trade and I think I might buy it as a present from DS to him, something they can do together. I've never seen a toy like that before!

NicoleWatterson · 25/10/2015 22:12

mak these are quite possibly the most beautiful item of clothing you could buy. Not a bargain but worth it www.candybows.co.uk/product_info.php?cPath=351_218_343&products_id=881

PJ I am staying away from sainsburys to avoid financial meltdown.

RJ I was in Asda this afternoon too about 3.30pm. It was ridiculously busy but I only needed a couple of things bought some disposable roasting trays as it seems I have to buy something for Christmas every day!

It is definitely an M&S food. Great fir picking up the Christmas food order. I've heard the other thing is a gym. Whilst I'd like THE gym up the road to have some competition, I'd rather have a B&M or a decent cinema

RJnomaaaaaargh · 25/10/2015 22:24

I was earlier in asda. There's TONS Of competition for THE gym I can think of half a dozen off the top of my head - pm me if you want suggestions. I use two or three of the others although my friend is a teacher at the big one.
