Nc199 I would say that a lot of the medium and big sets of playmobil are a good price at half off. Whereas the smaller sets, rarely get reduced by more than 1/3. The huge sets are a bit hit and miss and you have to research them individually.

I have finally worked out how to read private messages from this site on a mobile. So... I have a Disney store birthday code of 15% off that expires in a couple of weeks. I won't be using it so if anyone would like it please can you message me. It's a one off code and I don't think it's account specific, worth a try at least! I will give to the first message but am off to buy more stuff I probably don't need shopping so won't be answering until later

thanks, Yaffle - am desperately trying to get the Playmobil Santa's Workshop advent calendar at a decent price. None in my local store currently, but more will be coming in. If anyone notices it down in price anywhere else, I would be so grateful to hear about it! Thanks.

The Playmobil advent calendars are a great price at ToysRUs but if your area is like mine, they are all out of stock. I have ordered this one for DS, as at 12.49 on Amazon it's a reasonable price and I don't want to gamble for reductions later. Free delivery for prime or over £20 spend.

Nc playmobil is expensive and always used to have an excellent resale value on eBay although I am not allowed to sell ours as I am informed that it needs to be kept for their children

Mine loved it, and it's really only just being put away at 11.

I used to track the prices on eBay too, as some of the resellers did good deals.

Best way to price playmobil is to check it against the price on the playmobil website

Lovely bits & pieces are starting to turn up from my Aliexpress order

www.aliexpress.com/item/Brand-12-pcs-NAKE-3-Essential-Professional-Makeup-Brushes-Set-Synthetic-Hair-Kit-de-pinceis-de/32328557920.html

These are fantastic - really lovely brushes and will make a great stocking filler

www.aliexpress.com/item/Large-storage-bag-Hot-Women-Purse-Handbag-Organizer-Organiser-Travel-Travelling-Bag-Insert-Liner-cosmetic-bag/32366162067.html

Again, very pleased with these

www.aliexpress.com/item/Skmei-Brand-Men-Sports-Watches-Military-Watch-Casual-LED-Digital-Watch-Multifunctional-Wristwatches-50M-Waterproof-Student/32268686039.html

Fab stocking filler for my son

www.aliexpress.com/item/1-Pair-Silver-Gold-Plated-Stars-Element-Crystal-Pearl-Earrings-Ear-Hook-For-Women-Girl-Stud/32363841654.html

Quite nice and as described but I cant get them to stay up against my ear - they tend to fall down like a dropper.

All in all very pleased with my first foray into Aliexpress - I'll be definitely ordering more things

This Ali express thing. I take it its coming from China or something. Do you get stung for customs charges? Does it take foreverfor delivery?

I'd love the Playmobil pirate advent calendar if anyone sees one going cheap.

Yes Aliexpress all comes form China. I've not been stung for any delivery taxes at all and so far everything Ive ordered has turned up within about 2 weeks. Everything is so dirt cheap its worth taking a risk on IMO.

Makstout It comes from China, they mark it as a gift most of the time so you don't pay custom charges. I also think there is a price range for customs, something like anything over £30 or whatever it is depending on the item.

It does take a while yes, but were talking weeks most of the time. A lot of the items say arrives within 15-29 working days. So approximately 6 weeks at the most. Still in plenty of time for Christmas if you order now.
