Looks like the £5 voucher is only valid on toy purchases over £35.

Elvish · 07/10/2015 21:37

Actually Kat I might re-gift DH's to DDs teacher....

daddykyller · 07/10/2015 21:47

Hi ColeslawSandwich - only just caught up with the thread now- lol
I just been very busy with work, and children that are getting bigger, lately :(
I still try and make time to come on here and look even if I'm not posting anything :) - Just posted a few things I've been seeing over the last week or so earlier

Theimpossiblegirl · 07/10/2015 21:48

Real Techniques brushes on Amazon Linky
£11.52 down from £20.99- they seem to creep up and then go back down again.
Great pressie for teen girls.

RumAppleGinger · 07/10/2015 21:51

Somewhat dubious as to the RRP price but with all the Lego purchases happening thanks to this thread this large play mat that turns into a drawstring carry bag could make a good additional present.

HortonWho · 07/10/2015 21:58

Thanks for the tip to write to boden - I've never been offered vouchers from them maybe because I only order when they have massive sales but I emailed asking if I could receive one and they sent a gushingly apologetic email and credited my account. I may just make my first "non-sale" purchase yet.

ColeslawSandwich · 07/10/2015 22:03

Ah good, glad to see you back daddy Smile

Doza · 07/10/2015 22:15

Thanks Pamela Ewing: that's lovely but I'm in Ireland so no Asda!
NewMrsX there is a lovely train one on the Range site, I'll have to check it out in more detail, thanks!

ThomasRichard · 07/10/2015 22:29

Thank you for the IKEA suggestion for cheap frames!

woodwaj · 07/10/2015 22:56

Struggling with a present idea for 5 and 7 yr old girls. Budget £10 ish. For sisters I have got a scooter and frozen frustration so hoping to get something that looks as good as those things! TIA!

IAmABeachWave · 07/10/2015 22:57

Doza do you have a hobbycraft or can order? They do tree, house, truck and pile of presents if you fancy decorating them

IAmABeachWave · 07/10/2015 23:01

Doza this photo with them all in, the tree looks the biggest

Can anyone recommend a good baby doll for a 3 year old (obviously at bargain prices). DD2 loves her 'babies' and I have picked up quite so few clothes and accessories in the sales. I think it would be nice to wrap it all up with a doll but we already have quite a few 'my first baby annabel' sized dolls and 1 larger one. They are mostly DD1s old dolls but she didn't play with them so it's only DD2 that plays with them. She loves them all and doesn't really have a fav. I was thinking about getting either a soft rag doll (lots of the bits I have are for mothercare's pink poppet doll so something like that) or an interactive doll that cries/drinks/moves. Do you think she would get much use out of either of them or should I just give her the clothes to use with the dolls she has? Which dolls do your DCs play with?

IHopeYouStepOnALegoPiece · 07/10/2015 23:46

backinschool the problem I find with soft Rag-Type dolls are if DD like dressing/undressing them, they can be really bloody awkward as they're so soft...and then the frustration and sodding whinging begins! if she's not massively bothered then they're lovely!

DillieDoily · 07/10/2015 23:55

Has anyone bought any Paw Patrol figures from Ali Express before?

Thinking of ordering these but never tried Ali Express before so am a bit wary. Are they cheap copies?

m.aliexpress.com/item/32485634884.html

backinschool · 08/10/2015 00:39

Thanks IHopeYouStepOnALegoPiece - I was worried about that. She is def a kid who likes to change the clothes, give them bottles etc. I'm just looking for something a bit different to what we have. She probably doesn't really need another doll anyway.

LalaDipsey · 08/10/2015 07:20

DTD has got very excited by the train in the playmobil catalogue! It's very expensive and although she's always played with the happyland train when I get it out she's never expressed an interest before. She'll be 4 at the end of December. So far all she's asked for for her bday and Xmas is dolls accessories, but again she doesn't play much with dolls unless her sister gets hers out and plays with her. So, lovely people, would you recommend the train, or is there a good, cheaper alternative that maybe all 3dc could enjoy? (Was even wondering scaletrix (not because I'd love to play with it, no))

scrappydappydoo · 08/10/2015 07:39

Can anyone recommend a small make up/ wash bag for organising hair accessories? DD is a dancer and her current bag is a mess of different pins, grips, bun nets, hair spray, brushes etc I thought it would make a good stocking filler. ( or even better a bag with lots of different compartments for leotards, shoes, tights, and probably the kitchen sink )

Reastie · 08/10/2015 07:48

I have a tricky request from dd. She would like a kristoff from frozen costume. I've looked online and there are some on eBay but I wondered if anyone had seen a kristoff costume in any of the supermarkets? She also has asked for a Sven costume, but I think I can get away with just a regular reindeer costume and I'm sure I'll spot one nearer Christmas somewhere.

Has anyone spotted annuals on offer yet? I need 6, so 3 for 2 would be massively helpful!

HortonWho · 08/10/2015 08:56

Scrappy, I saw this online and thought it was quite sweet www.nailsinc.com/accessories/someone-said-i-live-in-fantasy-land-i-nearly-fell-off-my-unicorn_1391/
