Thank you cookie for the starwars fliers was looking at them the other day for DS2. Now purchased!

Not sure if it has been mentioned before but Tesco have a Lego classic creator box 10697 (2kg of lego, 1500 bricks) for £30 RRP is £50.

AdmiralCLingus · 06/10/2015 22:34

Can't believe this is on no4 already! Got loads of amazing bargains last year but have only just checked in for 2015!

I remember last year lots of people wanted the small selection packs of mini green and blacks chocolate bars, I spied some at the till in whsmiths for £1.99 this weekend which I thought wasn't too bad. You get 6 bars in a pack.

Also? The book people hAve some beautiful alice in wonderland adult colouring books for a couple of £s, all the original artwork. I absolutely DID NOT order one for myself.

Noticed someone up thread asking about how to change Ali express into £s instead of $s and would also like to know how to so this please!!!

Deedeecupcake · 06/10/2015 22:35

10% of order at stand-out.net with code EXTRA10. It's men's fashion, cannot vouch for it, must have entered a competition on there or something...

Highfivethatfart · 06/10/2015 22:36

Dinkleboo have 50% off personalised tote bags for children. These make quite a nice present esp. if you put a book inside. Simply enter coupon code TOTE15E at the checkout before midnight October 12, 2015 to receive your discount.

Aliexpress click on the 3 lines in the top left corner and a menu should drop down. There should be a button for settings with a pic of a flag next to it. Click on that and you can change it from $ to £. Hope that helps!

PinkSquash · 06/10/2015 22:43

Pob Your DS has similar likes to mine, some great ideas you've had, thank you Flowers

Boden are usually very good when it comes to honouring codes- I've had freebie items when using the voucher and discount code, but it seems Johnnie doesn't love me any more and I am not getting a voucher.

Kat3L · 06/10/2015 22:45

I've come rather late to the Molton and Brown party and have just placed an order for three gorgeous looking shower gel baubles with free delivery to store, thank you v much for the code. Can I just ask, have people been placing multiple orders using the same email login details etc? I remember seeing something upthread but wasn't taking it in at the time. Thanks.

wokeupwithasmile · 06/10/2015 22:59

Kat I made five different 30-pound order using same email and physical address and got confirmation for all of them.

Mrslebon Thank you for the Boden code!

Verypissedoffwife · 06/10/2015 23:32

kat I placed 3 seperate orders using the MB code on Sunday when it was still free delivery and I got oder confirmations for all 3.

SomethingOfTheNight · 06/10/2015 23:40

Thank you woodwajGrin

Iggi999 · 06/10/2015 23:42

Dh has thrown out my Boden voucher! Angry Sad
should I LTB?

Nc19999992 · 06/10/2015 23:49

Okay, ordering molten brown baubles.. Is black peppercorn for men? That would go to my dad.. And pink peppercorn women? His gf...... I don't want to end up with two women's ones?!

DillieDoily · 06/10/2015 23:57

Bah - just placed a Boden order before seeing Mrslebon's code. Ah well at least I had my £10 voucher.

Just spent £60 on advent calendars - 2 x Star Wars Lego and the Melissa and Doug wooden tree. That's seems like an absurd amount to spend on advent calendars but I'm sure they'll go down well.

A reminder to people that use ebay - especially for things that are coming over from China etc - to check for prices on ebay.com as well as ebay.co.uk as I've found that lots of things are priced at $1 on the US site but £1 on the UK site. Given the current rate of exchange, it can make quite a difference Xmas Grin

For example the stardust bracelets mentioned earlier - the cheapest fixed price ones on ebay.com are about $0.76 (50p) vs 60p on the UK site.

Other stuff worth checking out on there based on things mentioned this year and in previous years:

Kawaii cute post it notes - great for teacher presents, stocking fillers etc - typically start at 99p on the UK site, 76cents on the .com site - so about half price. Even better deals if you want to try bidding on them - I got a set of 5 packs of ivy leaf post it notes for less than £2 - on the UK site it would have cost me about a fiver.
Price sorted examples on the .com site

Somebody was asking about Russian stacking dolls - not loads and not desperately cheap but they did have some plain ones which I'm going to get a set of for each dc for them to paint as they wish to create their own decorations - work out about £2.80 each set including postage:
blank russian doll set

Chiffon or cotton scarves - search on 'Korean Scarf' for some really nice designs - either for cents if you bid on them or for a dollar or two if you buy fixed price:
Korean scarves
(I have this one - www.ebay.com/itm/Trendy-Bohemian-Womens-Voile-Soft-Silk-Scarf-Large-Shawl-Scarves-Pashmina-Cape-/201172049850?var=&hash=item2ed6c9dfba - which is less than £2 and really nice, I've had lots of compliments on it and it definitely looks like it cost much more).

I've just spotted these amazingly awful stretchy pre-made turban hats in the suggested bit below a korean scarf - for $1.88 (approx £1.25) which are straight out of the 70s and could be perfect as a secret santa for someone you don't like or as a joke gift:

Other stocking fillers for difficult teenagers and husbands include cute mobile phone stands from about 76 cents (or cheaper if you buy a lot containing 2 or more) - including little robots, elephants, whales, piglets, hands, shoes and people pushing in various directions...

There's loads more but that's probably a long enough post for today!

Kat3L · 07/10/2015 00:01

Thanks Woke and Very, that's great. I may just find a few more people to buy for.

Verypissedoffwife · 07/10/2015 00:04

nc yes that's right the black peppercorn is for men. The nicest MB product is the bath Salts. Absolutely divine - bit at 19 quid I try and buy in when it's on offer so I was thrilled with this code Smile

zipzap · 07/10/2015 00:05

For people that have lost or just missed discount codes or had them thrown away by an over zealous dh it's worth contacting customer service to see if they can help you.

I've done two book people orders recently - one I had problems because I was trying to use a code that expired at midnight and although I'd started well before, I couldn't get the diary to add - so i didn't place the order but emailed to say that I'd left these things in my basket, could they help me sort out how to get the diary in there too - and somebody rang me back the next day and put it all right as well as giving me the 12% discount rather than the 10% that it had dropped down to that day.

The next time, I was interrupted mid order by the dc so came back and ordered it, realising that I hadn't added the free book in that there was a code for. So I emailed them again there and then to say that I couldn't find any way to amend my order, any chance of them doing it for me to add the freebie book into it - and although my order arrived without it in, it arrived a couple of days later sent separately, which I thought was really good customer service.

So if you've made the order and realised that you've forgotten something then it's definitely worth a shot - if they don't do anything then you haven't lost anything if you have already ordered, but you've got a chance of getting your discount added or being told a code if you ring up and explain about your clutterbusting dh or whatever!

BanoffeePieIsMyFave · 07/10/2015 00:13

Thanks again to mrslebon for the boden code!Smile

Boden are good about vouchers. I didn't get one last year when others did on here so I emailed them and said I wanted to order something but couldn't afford it without the £10 discount and they credited my account with £10!

Reastie · 07/10/2015 06:50

Next have got their Christmas bedding set in which is nice and £15. There can be an offer via a free leaflet thing at the checkouts in store where you sign up to next delivery and get £10 off your first order if they still do it.

I should get the Molton Brown baubles, shouldn't I? I keep persuading myself then talking myself out of it. Are they a lovely present or are they tiny? Help!!

Kraggle · 07/10/2015 07:29

OvO my local Clintons had a whole stand of Tsum Tsums if you have one near you. Dd got a Dale (she thinks it's a baby hamster!) it was the first time I'd ever seen them but they had loads of different ones.

woodwaj · 07/10/2015 07:54
