Thanks thomas had been debating a the smaller box of classic at a higher price. I think that is the definitely the last of DS1 presents sorted.

EmGee · 01/10/2015 14:11

Thank you ThomasRichard for the link to Leapfrog readers on Amazon. I've had my eye on them for a few days and was waiting for the price to drop a bit before buying!

PandasRock · 01/10/2015 14:15

The Lego classic brick box is at best ever price, but once again Amazon have over-inflated the Rrp - it's generally on sale for about £35. So £25 is still a good deal, but not the amazing mega bargain it seems at first glance.

JeffreySadsacIsUnwell · 01/10/2015 14:15

The Lego seems to be ou of stock already?

JeffreySadsacIsUnwell · 01/10/2015 14:22

Update - it is OOS but can be ordered. Couldn't see a delivery date but was on phone and it's too fiddly.

ThomasRichard · 01/10/2015 14:26

It's out of stock but you can still order it at that price and they will send an email when it's back in stock for delivery. Should be fine for Christmas.

scrappydappydoo · 01/10/2015 14:41

moresnowplease those look great perfect for my brothers I struggle to buy for. Do you know if they have a use by date?
Keep the bargains coming everyone - I'm almost done!

ihatethecold · 01/10/2015 14:50

I know it sounds daft, but if you have been copying and pasting it from the email, try free typing it in. It worked for me when I did it that way.

ExploraDora · 01/10/2015 14:59

Doesn't seem to be online, but the Disney store has reduced their sale items in store. From the Trafford centre branch, I bought Frozen pinafore dresses from £14.95 down to £2.49 and Tsum Tsum pencil cases from £7.95 to £1. They had lots of cute baby outfits (like Pooh bear shirt and dungarees) from £15-20 down to £2-3. Just done this morning, according to the sales assistant.

ihatethecold · 01/10/2015 15:25

Thanks shutthatdoor
I didnt copy and paste.
i tried it in caps and small letters, neither worked

TheDrsDocMartens · 01/10/2015 15:58

Just remembered about the Disney points thing. Got a few DVDs that way last year. There's codes in Disney DVDs and usually 100-150 a DVD then 500+=free DVD

fuzzpig · 01/10/2015 16:02

Disney points are brilliant! We get a few each year. They have lots of activity printables too, if you wanted to stick them in stockings or an activity advent calendar or something.

MooseyMoo · 01/10/2015 16:07

All of my Disney Movie points are expiring this month. They now have a 6 month expiration date so if you accumulated a few last year, they'll be expiring soon.

reastie some dates for next thread:
Black Friday: 28th Nov
Cyber Mon: 30th Nov

Sainsbury will have a toy sale on in Oct half term but don't think dates have been confirmed yet

PamelaEwing · 01/10/2015 16:24

Ikea had a Christmas food and drink display up today - the lovely build your own gingerbread houses at £2.95 and the gingerbread heart & star shaped cookies at 95p with holes for ribbon or string. They also had non alcoholic mulled wine and festive tins of gingerbread thins.

M&S had lovely gift sets of 3 nail polishes or 3 Christmas smelly hand creams both £6.95 ish or individual tin pots of lip gloss for £3 and a pretty woodland mug with handcream in (I think). They also had large half price Stag pic tins of shortbread at around £5 and the now infamous musical rotating gold and red festive Christmas tree tin containing shortbread (which always goes down to £5 in the run up to Christmas )!!

The creams and nail polishes had the present sticker on which I think means they are 3 4 2?

Chocolateteabag · 01/10/2015 16:49

Ok I need a bit of help - how do you clean the chalk pens off windows?
I have spent ages wiping and re wiping chalky smears off my front window after I got silly with DH last night doing rude pictures practised with them
They are finally clean(ish) but there must be a better/quicker way?

woodwaj · 01/10/2015 16:50

Arghh - ordered the half price playmobil nursery school from toys r us. It's just been delivered in a huge box with 'playmobil' written all over it and a large picture of a playmobil character. Cue lots of questions - mummy what's in that?? I think I bluffed it but buyer beware!!! What were they thinking??

trixymalixy · 01/10/2015 18:58

Scrappy, ive just had exactly the same problem with a nerf gun from toys r us!!

saladfingers · 01/10/2015 19:00

Anyone had any experience of playdoh doh vinci? Seems really pricey and sounds messy! Or Heelys? Both on DD's wish list but quite expensive Smile
