MSE says Boots Star Gifts are starting this Friday with a Smashbox palette.

TimonAndPumbaa · 30/09/2015 09:46

The elsa styling head in the op is back up to full price now but they do have them for £10 in tesco, I think they had Cinderella too and I definitely saw a rapunzel head in tesco for £10.

happsymum and englishrose I saw something shopkins related in asda yesterday but I'm not sure what it was sorry! I didn't give it too much thought as my dds aren't into shopkins. Will have a look when I'm next in there.

romcom, if the child you're buying for enjoys imaginative play, playmobil is fab. Last Christmas we bought my dd (who's 4) the ambulance and school bus (found about them on this thread, bargain price of £15 each from tesco). And she plays with them almost every day. We also bought her the Christmas room and a santa and snowman which are just adorable and will come back out in early December. The ambulance comes with a stretcher and drip which dd thinks is great as well as a paramedic and other little bits and it has lights and a siren. The school bus has a driver and pupils with detachable backpacks. She also has the playground with the sandpit, swings, slide etc and I think that also came with a mum with a baby in a pram. So yes, to sum up, playmobil is great Grin. Soneone else suggested buying a small pack first, they've got little packs in home bargains for £1.99 - farmer with cow and feeding bottle, mum with pram etc.

TimonAndPumbaa · 30/09/2015 09:50

Oops I meant I saw the Elsa head in asda sorry, getting my supermarkets mixed up! I saw Elsa and Cinderella in asda and Rapunzel in tesco, all £10. The Elsa heada in tesco were a bit more.

TimonAndPumbaa · 30/09/2015 09:53

Ah sorry, just reading back my post and spotted another error. I meant that there was something shopkins related reduced in asda.

TobleroneBoo · 30/09/2015 09:57

Boots star gift is already there. Smashbox Contouring Palette £30 instead of £60 - Still a bit pricey for me!

EnglishRose1320 · 30/09/2015 10:08

Thanks Timonandpumbaa will have a look next time I am near an Asda, none nr my house. My DS's are not interested in them either so haven't been looking out for them but my close friends daughter would love some for Christmas and i always get her little ones something, I thought shopkins looked like a nice small gift, surprised how pricey some of the sets are!

Badders123 · 30/09/2015 10:11

IAAP - I have looked in hot deals but can't find the very code?

IAmAPaleontologist · 30/09/2015 10:29

Ah crap, looks like it has expired. They do it regularly though. But 6KND7 is for £25 off a £50 spend for a new credit account. Most of the best codes are for credit accounts but you can just pay it off straight away.

IAmAPaleontologist · 30/09/2015 10:31

Oh hang on 6LJJ6 is £30 off £60 for a new credit account. Expires 26th December.

SconeForAStroll · 30/09/2015 10:33

If you are a member of Quidco the offer at The Works is 18% cash back and 15% off.

It really is worth joining - I got over £100 cash back last Christmas just by watching the offers.

YaMasYaDaWithAWigOn · 30/09/2015 10:38

If anybody is after Glitzi Globes, Home Bargains have some in. A smallish starter set (jewellery style) for £3.99, larger set with display stand for around £6-8 (can't remember exact price) and the large Disney Princess set with castle display for £14.99 (usually retails at £34.99)

Badders123 · 30/09/2015 10:43

IAmAPaleontologist · 30/09/2015 10:50

As an experiment I've just registered for a new account with same address etc just a different e-mail and it has accepted it so should now be able to do the new account £30 off a £60 spend again. Woohoo! This could become a yearly habit!

RoaringForties · 30/09/2015 10:54

Lovely to be back on the Christmas thread, beautiful baby chips.
I'm after a refurbished iPhone 5s but feel a bit wary of some of the sites. Anyone recommend a good one?
My chalks should be here today so it's time to delurk!
