I'm so pleased with myself. OK, it could all go horribly wrong if

Argos don't really have a Wii for us
Amazon fk up
John Lewis or Tesco don't deliver

but apart from that, I'm done. Hurrah. I am feeling smug but to mitigate this I would like to point out that I have NEVER done this in my life before. Last year dh did all of it alone more or less. I've just got to wrap them now

I too am smug, like Becky, I have done NO Christmas shopping.

Blu · 06/12/2006 17:25

I have done all the Christmas shopping I am going to do. DS, nephew, neice.

That's it.

I am moving house next week, have been v v busy at work, dp's relatives are coming to stay 4 days after we move house....there will be christmas cheer (I hope) but no material goods!

JollyOldSaintNikkielas · 06/12/2006 19:24

Just one left to buy-cousins bf -will be some alcohol type thing so pretty easy to get.Nothing wrapped except gps hampers

TheArcAngelTLV · 06/12/2006 19:26

more or less finished myself, few bits for dh and mum to get and I'm pretty proud to be organised too

Olihan · 06/12/2006 19:34

Mine are all bought, wrapped and labelled. Got to be organised though, dc3 is due Boxing Day so can't do my usual frantic dash to the shops on Christmas Eve .

kid · 06/12/2006 19:35

(I haven't started buying them yet!)

LittleSarah · 06/12/2006 19:38

I too am finished. Actually got most of my presents in October as with student loan installments am always - and this is no exception - broke by December!

Got to wrap and will be starting tomorrow night, tonight I am... ahem... revising!

pelvicfloorSNOWmore · 06/12/2006 19:45

Presents bought and wrapped
Just have to divide dd2's presents in two as her birthday is jan 15th ,then my mom has offered to wrap them as all the dd's pressies are hiding there.

Have some to deliver and a couple of special ones to buy.
Food -wont need too much as im working christmas day and we are having dinner at my parents when i finish work. But what we do need i shall order online.
Does anyone know when the deadlines are for Tesco and sainsbury's?

GiraffeGotTheLastRoomInTheInn · 06/12/2006 20:45

All done here too, last stragglers arriving by next day delivery tomorrow.

But we really needed to tbh as we are going away a week on Friday so I need to get everything ready for holiday before then too. I'm working in between and when we get back too so i really only have this week.

Everything is wrapped now too apart from the stuff which hasn't yet arrived.

paulaplumpbottom · 06/12/2006 20:51

I was smug at the end of November.

isadoraflora · 06/12/2006 21:35

Saw this thread... panicked - Christmas being 3 weeks away... and spent half an hour online. Did everything on the RNLI shop (seriously!), babeswithbabies.com (brilliant jewellry and it's gift wrapped already) and, okay, I admit it, Amazon. Except the RNLI stuff, everything's being delivered to the lucky friends&family. So now I can be smug too. Is anyone really doing that charity gift thing or does it look mean? I wanted to but didn't quite dare for everyone.

deaconblue · 06/12/2006 22:23

Me too, me too. Finished yesterday.

deaconblue · 06/12/2006 22:23

oh arse, I still can't work out how to get a festive smiley!!! Where are the square brackets on my keyboard?

kid · 07/12/2006 07:18

(next to the p)

deaconblue · 07/12/2006 07:42

HURRAH!

GiraffeGotTheLastRoomInTheInn · 07/12/2006 10:38

All presents have now arrived- just need to wrap the ones which only came this morning!

Sadly, I will now have to organise things for the holiday.

Blackduck · 07/12/2006 10:46

dp did his entire shop online in half an hour.....but guess who had to wrap the stuff up ....me - nearly finished, just the little stuff to get...

Troutpout · 07/12/2006 10:52

pressies all done and wrapped
food all ordered

paulaplumpbottom · 07/12/2006 10:54

I have a glass of champagne when I'm all done with the shopping and wrapping? Does anyone else celebrate their seasonal success?

2000milestoeidsvold · 07/12/2006 10:55

Boleyn · 07/12/2006 20:16

Only got DH to do, food and crackers! Feel well smug. Escept I have no ideas for DH!

dmad · 08/12/2006 18:20

Mostly done. I'm getting the food over the internet, as I don't like the supermarkets on christmas week. Presents are mainly sorted. Haven't posted my christmas cards yet. I'm pleased with my progress so far. In answer to paulaplumpbottom, I celebrate on christmas eve when the kids are in bed. I have a nice Baileys.

worcestercaroline · 08/12/2006 18:56

am wrapping all mine up tonight then they r out of the way.getting tree tomorrow.

GodRestYeMerryPebblemum · 08/12/2006 19:18

Im all done except for FIL which my MIL is in charge of buying as she knows what he wants. Ive still got lots of wrapping up to do though, seems to be taking forever

All i have to do now is stop myself buying more, everytime i go shopping i seem to spot things people would like but i have to draw a line somewhere (unless its little treats for me
