Hello all,

Hopefully the second message on the thread will contain a list of potentially useful links. I haven't checked through all of last years useful links so if I've missed any good ones please let me know and I'll amend.

I'll do my best to keep it updated with each new thread.

DD was watching some kind of Disney Christmas cartoon this morning so I'm feeling rather festive today :)

I just ordered this Lego princess set for £10.94 (£15ish elsewhere) ideal gift for a niece as I'm budgeting £10 per child this year as we have to many we like to buy for but still like to get them something quality.

lego

I also ordered some Sony headphones from Amazon for £10 each, they have good reviews and are ideal stocking fillers for my two DS's and OH

headphones

Free snapfish 8x8 canvas. Just pay £4.99 p&p. Offer ends midnight tonight.

Ginxed · 25/09/2015 17:25

Amazon have Lego Minecraft The First Night for £28, the lowest ever price according to ccc. Rrp is £40 so this is a decent discount, just ordered for DS Grin

BrucieTheShark · 25/09/2015 17:35

Least christmassy bargain of all time but local Sainsburys had children's wetsuits at half price, plus the extra 25% off this week. Price ended up at £6.75 from £18.

YaMasYaDaWithAWigOn · 25/09/2015 17:40

Yes I would assume it's per visit. I grabbed 4 yesterday and going to get another 4 tomorrow. Stashing them in the loft so I'm not tempted to eat them!

PoopPoooDeDooo · 25/09/2015 18:30

My friend Cayla £30 in Tesco flash sale

RJnomaaaaaargh · 25/09/2015 18:31

I don't think everything's on the boots site yet. Either that or the sanctuary selection is crap this year.

NewMrsX · 25/09/2015 18:53

Oh I didn't see the 3 for 2 when I looked! It's not well advertised yet is it?

Rj I thought that when I looked for the No 7 gift sets but it didn't come up with the other No 7 stuff or through the search bar. I had to go into Christmas, then 3 for 2 and scroll through to find them in there. A lot of it isn't in stock yet though. I wonder if it's the same for the sanctuary stuff?

PipersOrange · 25/09/2015 18:55

Is the crayola chalk pens still working!? They look perfect for my sister!

WindTheFrog · 25/09/2015 18:58

ArthurChristmas · 25/09/2015 19:08

Picked up my smiggle advent calendar from post depot this morning, really pleased, it's very impressive. I have decided I really need to get going properly tonight, I have a load of bithdays as well to sort out.......I may have to crack on smiggle again! And my DS has just bought home his 5th party invite in reception Shock

SomethingOfTheNight · 25/09/2015 19:46

Would anyone be kind enough to recommend small toy please, for both a 2 yr and a 1 yr old boy.

It's a while since mine were that age and I've lost touch Confused. From Argos ideally, as I've got a mountain of stuff to pick up from there tomorrow

Reastie · 25/09/2015 19:47

Got my chalk pens too and trying to decide whether to keep them for Christmas or just open them now!

Thanks, Brucie, I want a wetsuit for DD
Maybe a bargain if you have a few girls to buy for and want something different, but DD keeps losing her hair clips, so I've found this place where I can buy the clips, glue and bits to stick on.

Not long till a new thread! This one flew by! aware I'm only hastening it's doom but still. Lego friends vet at its lowest price yet.

RJnomaaaaaargh · 25/09/2015 20:14

Would anyone have a re commendation for a scooter for an 11yo girl? Dd2 has outgrown hers.

PjDay · 25/09/2015 20:44

RJ THIS scooter is the one my DS(13) has but DD(10) often steals it. I paid full price last year and worth every penny so this is a real bargain.

RJnomaaaaaargh · 25/09/2015 21:09

Thanks pj that looks ideal and it's around the budget I had in mind.

Reastie · 25/09/2015 21:12

I know anddeep, I imagine I'll have to start the new one tomorrow already [ shock]

Tesco have paddling pools reduced to £3. Not a very Christmassy present but the cat broke DD's so it will be nice of santa to replace it. Plus it comes in a nice big box :)

Joycey29 · 25/09/2015 21:41

Anyone know when the Benefit advent calendar is out....

happsymum · 25/09/2015 21:49

Chalk pens discount still working. Thanks so much to person who mentioned it.

And woah for headphones... Sat in my basket till payday stay sat on tempted hands till next week or will b in trouble

MissRainbowBrite · 25/09/2015 21:52

Asda had some new Busy Books in today, Disney Princess, Frozen Fever and a lovely Christmas one with the usual 12 figures but these had string so could also be hung on the Christmas tree. All were priced at £4.38.

neddle · 25/09/2015 21:54

Glad people like the chalk pens. Mine have been used a fair bit already. I think they might make a good teacher present if you happened to have more than one Amazon account to get a few Grin.

These are the pens, and you need to go to this website to get your code to reduce them to £1 (in exchange for a review).
