Hello all,

Hopefully the second message on the thread will contain a list of potentially useful links. I haven't checked through all of last years useful links so if I've missed any good ones please let me know and I'll amend.

I'll do my best to keep it updated with each new thread.

DD was watching some kind of Disney Christmas cartoon this morning so I'm feeling rather festive today :)

neddle · 24/09/2015 19:44

I got my chalk pens today and they're great - much better than the ones I had before.
They write really smoothly and I've been decorating my printer, although ds(3) rubbed some off!
I think they'd make a good gift for a teenager with a white board or blackboard for studying etc.

Thanks for the Matalan code, that's me got the DC's new pj's.

The Wilko calendar is ideal for DD age 11, thanks RJ.

Scalextric bargain. I have just ordered three for my brothers for a combined total of £59.98 instead of £180!!!

PoopPoooDeDooo · 24/09/2015 20:02

I need help! Could anyone please give me an idea on what to buy for 3x 7 year old boys? Would like to spend no more than £30 in total, ideally £20ish if I can utilise Argos 342 or something. They can be 3x the same present as they don't know each other. Thanks Flowers

autumnintheair · 24/09/2015 20:05

happsymum · 24/09/2015 20:49

the wilko advent calendar looks fab! wish my DD would grow her nails!

Pantsalive · 24/09/2015 21:21

PoopPoooDeDooo The calendar was this:
Sticky Note Memo Pad With Calendar 2016 and 2017 for £3.98

I can't see where it was referred to on here now, so maybe I found it all on my own. As I said it was rather late Confused

Have ordered two as stocking fillers but now, of course, that means that I can't get them for all the other people I've decided they'd be really good for. I tried to get away with doing that with finger lights the other year but nearly blew it.

WindTheFrog · 24/09/2015 21:27

I didn't get on here yesterday and missed both a Lego set I wanted and the Yankee advent. I obviously need to stop having a life and just completely focus on Christmas!

EustaciaVye · 24/09/2015 21:41

Matalan have got their christmas toys and gifts out. Picked up some lip gloss sets for stockings today.

New Look is worth a look for stocking fillers too. Picked up some metallic temporary tattoos near the till for £2.00 each. Again, perfect for tween stockings.
