Hello all,

Hopefully the second message on the thread will contain a list of potentially useful links. I haven't checked through all of last years useful links so if I've missed any good ones please let me know and I'll amend.

I'll do my best to keep it updated with each new thread.

DD was watching some kind of Disney Christmas cartoon this morning so I'm feeling rather festive today :)

beaming nope! it was meant to be delivered Saturday but not sure if tomorrow or next so I'm a bit stumped and annoyed I didn't screenshot on my phone. Build a bear didn't email me confirmation either so I called in today and it's been dispatched anyway so I'm hoping Argos is the same, read someone complaining on their page about it so maybe they just don't?

Pobspits · 18/09/2015 20:20

Sarah and duck toys £7 on Amazon - stupid phone won't let me paste the link

RumAppleGinger · 18/09/2015 20:24

Thanks for the dinosaur link. DS is Dino daft and will love it.

RumAppleGinger · 18/09/2015 20:27

link to pobs sarah and duck find. I'll have one of those too!

Lurleene · 18/09/2015 20:31

On Groupon today you get a £40 voucher to spend on Very for £20.

Groupon

It says if you purchase something from Very with your card rather than use an account it will take the full amount, then refund you £40.

Lurleene · 18/09/2015 20:32

I've just read that this offer is only open to new Very customers though.

Joycey29 · 18/09/2015 20:52

Anyone seen offer on Anger, Sadness & Fear toys?

HortonWho · 18/09/2015 21:24

We've had those Sarah and duck toys for a while and paid about £8 for each - they're small but lovely for toddlers to take along on trips (and easily pop into your handbag)

Joycey29 · 18/09/2015 22:05

Thanks Jessica78 - great offer

saladfingers · 18/09/2015 22:11

Thanks Jessica 78 that's a new charm for dd sorted! :-)

ThomasRichard · 18/09/2015 22:59

Anna and Elsa Frozen Fever dolls are £11.98 on Amazon at the moment. £15-16 elsewhere.

BanoffeePieIsMyFave · 18/09/2015 23:19

Think I remember someone asking up thread about thomas sets
Thomas take n play tidmouth sheds set reduced on Amazon to £23.99 with free delivery
www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B002YQU0SK/ref=mp_s_a_1_sc_1?qid=1442612978&sr=8-1-spell&pi=AC_SX110_SY165&keywords=thomas+take+n+play+tidmoutg
Seems to be a good deal Smile

neddle · 19/09/2015 00:23

joycey the inside out toys - on Amazon, there's joy, anger and disgust in a set for £25 including postage or aset of all 5 for £40 here.
They seem to be at least £10 each so sets work out better value.

neddle · 19/09/2015 00:24

Anyone know anything about the new Star Wars film? Are there new characters or something specific to this one.
I want to get something (toy or clothing maybe) that's not from one of the original characters iyswim?

RumAppleGinger · 19/09/2015 06:01

needle the "BB8 droid" is the droid you are looking for Grin

Depending on your budget there is everything from an app enabled robot at around £130 down to plush toys for a tenner and everything in between.

The actual film is supposed to be out on 17th December so hoping to get tickets as an early present for DH and me.

MooseyMoo · 19/09/2015 07:15

Gap sent out an email with a game to play. I got 35% off sale and full price with LUCKYGAP

Quidco have 8% CB

MooseyMoo · 19/09/2015 07:19

Lidl have their waterproofs in store from Thursday

www.lidl.co.uk/en/our-offers-2491.htm?id=650&ar=3

PesoPenguin · 19/09/2015 07:36

Those Lidl waterproofs look lovely! I managed to get DS sorted in summer when I spotted some boys' ski sets for £1.99 ( so I bought one in every size Grin), I wish they did something similar in adult sizes!

PamelaEwing · 19/09/2015 07:53

I got those Lidl light up when you walk wellie boots last year for DD and they are brilliant! Lights are still working a year on and we get loads of compliments on them. The faux sheepskin lining is great for keeping feet warm!

GloGirl · 19/09/2015 08:01

Ooh great thanks moosey!

Stompylongnose · 19/09/2015 08:42

Needle. agree with droid advice.

Kylo Ren seems to be the new baddie. He has a light saber that's a new shape so his light saber in toy form will probably be popular. I can't do links as it depends on your budget and if you're buying for an adult or child.

BeamingBrenda · 19/09/2015 09:00

Phoned Argos and they 'resent' then email so I can collect the Frozen Toddler doll today - yay!

AmICoeliac · 19/09/2015 10:19

Would anyone be kind enough to repost the build a bear code if you can see it please? I know it's somewhere in the thread but I've looked through twice and can't see it! I'm on my slow phone though and scrolling through is hard!

storybrooke · 19/09/2015 10:23

Has anyone seen any Star Wars themed presents suitable for a 3 1/2 year old? I've got 3 playskool ship sets from the entertainer penny sale and a large storm trooper figure from very, can't see much else, he's obsessed with anything to do with it! Tia x
