Wish I'd seen this this morning! Just paid over £24 to post my parcels . Only the thought that it was for the Christmas MNetter family kept me from shouting out 'how much?!'

helenhismadwife · 27/11/2006 16:18

So, hwo does Payperdrop work then?

I buy it now - and then what?

Do I tell then which day to collect and which day to deliver? What happens if no one is in when it is delivered?

helenhismadwife · 27/11/2006 17:15

you book collection and delivery on the shop page there is a link on the left hand side its dhl who do the deliveries and they leave a card if you are not in you can collect from the depot

hulababy · 27/11/2006 17:18

Ah, that is great. Was worried it was a one delivery only type affair, where you have to repay to get your parcel. If you can collect that it fab Thanks.

hulababy · 27/11/2006 17:31

Jusr re-read though and seen this:

WE WITHOLD THE RIGHT TO RE-CHARGE THE FULL PRICE OF DELIVERY FOR A (NOT AVAILABLE OR NON COLLECTION) COLLECTION ATTEMPT, OR FOR A (REFUSED OR NOT AVAILABLE) DELIVERY ATTEMPT.

Confused about the delivery issue???

CountessDracula · 27/11/2006 17:32

Parcelforce, I don't think so

I don't want to deliver a nervous breakdown with my xmas gifts! They are the WORST delivery service

hulababy · 27/11/2006 20:37

Anyone know more - need clarification.

Laura032004 · 27/11/2006 20:41

With payperdrop you either pay again, or collect the parcel from the depot if you miss the delivery.

hulababy · 27/11/2006 20:44

Excellent - so long as I know there is a depot place to collect from as an option.

helenhismadwife · 27/11/2006 21:19

why dont you email them to check, I know in Bristol they use DHL and if they are unable to deliver they always leave a card so you can call them direct and arrange redelivery or collect from the depot

muffintop · 27/11/2006 21:55

Has anyone been brave enough to book the ebay courier as I cannot afford a £20 parcel - if not can anyone suggest another way of sending it (I spent 1.5 hours wrapping and packing the goodies and it gave me a great feeling)

charliecat · 27/11/2006 21:57

Ive booked him, been in email contact with him too. The parcels got to a depot to be sorted apparently...was picked up 3 hours after booking.

OP posts:
hulababy · 27/11/2006 21:58

So I order it on the day I want it collecting then? Or can I order it in advance to collect on a day of my choice?

helenhismadwife · 27/11/2006 22:06

order in advance just specify the day you want

hulababy · 27/11/2006 22:40

All booked, ready to be collected next Monday. Thanks for link. By Royal Mail it would have been double that at least, and then only for 3-4 day delivery.

charliecat · 28/11/2006 18:10

Who did you book with Hula? Im still waiting for Payperdrop from this morning...theres till time for them to turn up though!
The 3.99 dudes turns up 3 hours after me ordering.
