Anyone know when this year's will be out please? Or has seen any information about them anywhere? Or can remember when they came out last year? Google has not been my friend on this one...

I think my daughter (20) would love one of these... although she'll still have a chocolate one too or she'd be sad Grin

W7 beauty advent calendar is now on Groupon for £16.99 + p&p

10 nail varnishes, 3 lipsticks, foundation, glitter, lip glosses and a mascara.

traviata · 13/10/2015 08:39

the Lush one is a huge box! It isn't a calendar, in that there are no little doors to open, it's just one big box with 12 compartments, but very lovely if you like Lush. Pricy though at £50.

I was looking at the Bomb Cosmetics one which is a 24-door calendar , there are lots new on ebay for under £20.

d270r0 · 13/10/2015 13:35

The bomb cosmetics one is on amazon for £18.99

Davros · 14/10/2015 15:08

I'm so excited. I bit the bullet and ordered the £60 Body Shop one for DD. She will love it.

Stitchosaurus · 14/10/2015 15:35

My Clarins one arrived today - box looks lovely but obviously I haven't checked the contents yet! Got six decent sized free samples too, so I'm happy so far.

Ohwhatfuckeryisthis · 15/10/2015 06:49

Got a message about benefit one coming soon last night.

traviata · 16/10/2015 12:04

Benefit '12 days' went on sale yesterday.
Out of stock today.

watch ebay for the profit grabbers.

Ohwhatfuckeryisthis · 18/10/2015 09:46

The l'occitaine one is out today, 39 quid, 17 out of 24 presents are product. I'd love it. Not going to get it.

Ingles2 · 18/10/2015 09:51

Thanks to this thread, I've got the Benefit party poppers one.. Ordered it through Debenhams on thurs, picked it up Fri .. Am very excited, not sure I can wait till December Grin

PurpleHairAndPearls · 27/11/2015 12:35

I am bumping this so I can live vicariously through you all Grin

Are you excited, people with calendars? Not long to go...

I have made homemade little advent calendars with perfume samples and lip glosses etc in for the DC and little chocolates for DH so I can't wait for them to see them Smile

Not been able to buy a "proper" beauty one but maybe next year! Any feedback welcome :)

MetallicBeige · 27/11/2015 21:14

Dh surprised me with a Look Fantastic one. I've avoided any reviews so I can't wait to see what's in there. I get their monthly beauty boxes and really like them, so am hoping the calendar is just as good.

PurpleHairAndPearls · 30/11/2015 14:00

That looks interesting metallic I hope it's good. I don't wear make up (except eyeliner) so I don't really know why I'm so obsessed interested in the beauty advent calendars! I think it's because I've spent the last six months filling my DCs' ones. I cannot wait to give them to them tomorrow.

Hope everyone has a good December 1st!

superbfairywren · 30/11/2015 14:07

I have the m and s which has a little box for everyday/ you don't actually open a door and am quite excited about opening it. I haven't had an advent calendar for years and so I have got it for myself as a little treat for doing all the Christmas shopping early!

MelanieCheeks · 30/11/2015 15:05

I'll be opening my M&S one tomorrow!

JennaRoss · 30/11/2015 15:17

A friend gave me an M&S one, the contents on the back look really good.

Looking forward to opening my first box tomorrow.

PurpleHairAndPearls · 30/11/2015 16:30

I hope everyone enjoys their first advent surprise tomorrow and posts on here so I can live vicariously through you all

I have spent the afternoon filling 144 little pockets with assorted chocs, lip balms, free perfume samples, mini toiletries, sweets, pens and other assorted oddments. I hope they enjoy them! I even did one for DH, it has a scratchcard in the first day so fingers crossed WinkGrin

blatantplacemark · 30/11/2015 16:40

I bought the m and s one - as did everybody else in the beauty group on FB that I belong to - MrsGloss&TheGoss. I wasn't going to but hard not to when it was literally everywhere Grin

ExasperatedAlmostAlways · 30/11/2015 16:49

I left working for benefit in March. I have to admit the calendar last year was shit. All tiny sample sizes that we give away to people anyways and then crap like post it notes, tacky cheap looking bobbles. Hope it's better this year. The competition seems to be on tho now with more cosmetic companies bringing their own versions out.

I got my dd10 the w7 one and my dd6 a frozen beauty one. Didn't get any chocolate ones which im surprised about as most years their Aunty and gran will buy them one and they end up with three cause I also have. So decided to go for non chocolate this year and see how it goes. Wish I'd got myself the m and s one!

trixymalixy · 30/11/2015 18:02

I've got the M&S one. I'm excited as I've been hankering after a beauty advent calendar for years, but hadn't seen one that I liked that was a reasonable price.

StrawberrytallCake · 30/11/2015 20:03

Does anyone else have the liberty calendar? I'll be opening in the morning!!!! Very excited.

trixymalixy · 30/11/2015 21:59

EnvyEnvy the liberty calendar was the one I really wanted, but it was just too dear for me. Please post the contents so I can live vicariously through you!!!

StrawberrytallCake · 01/12/2015 10:25

Dh bought it for me - I definitely wouldn't have spent that much!!! So this morning I got La Tulipe hand cream from Byredo Parfums?? A little underwhelmed as I have no idea who they are - smells nice though!
