Anyone know when this year's will be out please? Or has seen any information about them anywhere? Or can remember when they came out last year? Google has not been my friend on this one...

I think my daughter (20) would love one of these... although she'll still have a chocolate one too or she'd be sad Grin

Not beauty, but Partylite do advents.

Scented tea light in each square. they are approx ??14.

I would love a beauty one but can't justify the cost!

However, this thread has inspired me to do an advent for my mum and DH. Just need some ideas now for things to put in it!

Thanks!

I had the No7 one last year and loved it. No empty doors here! Although there were 4 eyeliners which I thought was probably 2 too many...
I'm planning to get it again this year, unless the price has massively shot up (was ??35 last year)

chipsandpeas · 10/09/2015 10:32

I got the benefit one last year it was ok but won't be rushing to get it this year some of the windows had the likes of post it notes and bobbles
The boots one was a bit rubbish imo it was all no7 stuff which I don't use a lot of the year before it wasn't no7 so had lots of diff brands

UsernameIncorrect · 10/09/2015 10:37

I got my daughter this one last year.

Has anyone saw the ciate advent calendar in TKMaxx this year?

I've bought a couple of their nail varnishes and I'm really impressed. I'd love to treat myself to the advent calendar but £50 is a bit steep, I think I've seen that you can buy them in TK Maxx for £24.99??

Anyone seen them yet?

BigGreenOlives · 19/09/2015 20:05

Look Fantastic are doing one this year.

I was given the Selfridges one last year and it had too many little bottles of perfume for my liking. Lots of Lancôme mascara & a pencil eyeliner, can't remember what else. I wouldn't recommend it. Ciate do a few different ones I think. Two years ago Boots did an advent calendar which I gave to DD & she liked it but they didn't do the same one last year.

LazySusan11 · 23/09/2015 08:00

Found this for this years beauty advent

CalmYoBadSelf · 23/09/2015 08:06

I have had Selfridges (nice for one year but too much Lancome to want every year) and YOU beauty which was lovely and I might do that again unless I find a nice candle one

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 23/09/2015 18:03

oh, I love the paisley box of the Liberty one but it's £149 and I honestly wouldn't use 90% of the contents.
Love the look of The BodyShop one (but I'd need a sneaky insight into what's in the £60 as opposed to the £80. They might have some discounts.....................?? )

They are very pricey this year. Though last year I got the No7 one, it was 'okay; but not worth the £35 IMO

LazySusan11 · 08/10/2015 07:41

Clarins advent is now out £60 and I think Body Shop is also just out

HairsprayQueen · 08/10/2015 07:50

You Beauty is on the site now, it doesn't look amazing tbh, which is a shame as their monthly boxes are great.

FireInTheDisco · 08/10/2015 08:38

Just dropping in to say the 2015 Ciate advent calendar is currently £25 (down from £50) on the Ciate website using code MINIMANI25.

Hope this helps somebody! Smile

d270r0 · 10/10/2015 20:55

I think they're mostly quite expensive, and the products often aren't things you'd pick yourself. So this year my sisters and I have decided to make each other them. A different gift for every day! Alternatively a cheaper one for £19 is bomb cosmetics, I saw it on amazon, its like lush but only bath bombs and soaps. Lush do a gorgeous one but only 12 days worth and its about £50. The m&s one is worth looking at too.

Chimchar · 10/10/2015 21:41

My dd (12) would love one of these....I would love one!!

The house of Fraser one in the link that lazysusan put up looks good for her...a starter make up kit. And her birthday is end of November! Yay!

I'd love the marksies one. Or the lush one. Or any one! Wink

AdoraBell · 10/10/2015 21:52

Place marking because having lived overseas this is a revelación To me and DD1 Grin

RoseWithoutAThorn · 11/10/2015 08:35

Look Fantastic Pre Order you can pre order the Look Fantastic one, however it doesn't say what's in it.

Ohwhatfuckeryisthis · 11/10/2015 08:42

But ciate is shit.
I'd love one, but know full well it'll be full of stuff I don't use. Rather have £50 in vouchers.

Nearlyadoctor · 11/10/2015 08:46

I really fancy Lush's 12 Days of Christmas, but as my present rather than as an advent calendar.
It's not available yet but is in their Christmas catalogue.

RoseWithoutAThorn · 11/10/2015 08:49

Every Beauty Advent Calendar 2015. Here's all the beauty advent calendars this year with availability dates.

QOD · 11/10/2015 10:00

fireinthedisco thanks so much! Just bought the ciate for £25 free delivery

Incidentally, New Look do a cheapy jewellery one as I bought it in the sale last January

Davros · 11/10/2015 19:41

Has anyone tried or got any thoughts on the Revolution one available at Super Drug?

WhyDoesGastonBark · 11/10/2015 19:59

I am a fan of Revolution but when I looked through the products in it, they are all full size from their normal range and the £50 one I could buy everything for £30, or even less using the 20% off code they give you when you sign up to their newsletter! I want someone I can make one for and them make me one tailored to what we would use

Davros · 11/10/2015 20:05

Ha! Interesting. I am now leaning towards Body Shop or Lush

trying29 · 11/10/2015 20:07

I got the benefit one last year which was terrible and bought my
Mum the no7 one for half the price which she loved.
Have signed up for the selfridges one tbis year as a present to myself

chanie44 · 11/10/2015 20:33

I like the idea of having one, but I suspect that some of the items won't be suitable for me.

Last year, I made my mum a beauty advent calandar. I'm not sure she liked everything in it, but liked the sentiment. I've decided to do one for my sister this year, but it won't be limited to beauty, so I'll add chocolates and socks etc.
