DOES ANYONE HERE LET THEIR KIDS OPEN ONE PRESSIE ON XMAS EVE???

i am just wondering, i always do this with my kids, my parents did same with us. we used to be able to choose one of the smaller ones, but i always give my kids a pair of pyjamas to open on christmas eve so they have new ones to wake up in on xmas day.

poppies.... are all your kids presents from santa? only one or two things are from santa here and the rest is from us (again not this year as we're broke but generally)

I have bought presents especially for xmas eve this year!!!!!

I have bought "Polar Express" on DVD and "A Night Before Christmas" book.

It is my plan to keep them entertained and take their minds off the next day a bit!!!!!

oh yeah they will love it mine are 7,5 2 and 1 and all aprt from lo have seen it and love it

No way. Part of the fun is the anticipation. Why take that away? Am I a kill joy?

HonorMatopoeia: have you taught your child Finnish? Any tips? DH is also Finnish and felt you have an obligation to give gifts on Christmas eve - I see trouble ahead in our household!

We do exactly the same, all the kids get new pyjamas christas eve x
