Oh yes, there's half a stilton in the freezer. Also I bought some of that butter with the salt crystals in and it didn't get opened till last week, so still using that. I used to love it, but have cut back on salty foods and now it tastes really strong, won't be buying it again.

Pasithea · 17/01/2015 21:02

Still stuck on hospital haven't started most of ours yet

thenightsky · 17/01/2015 21:05

whoknows I got some of that salt crystal butter too but had to throw it away as it ripped my mouth to pieces. The little crystals got between my teeth and gums and drew blood! Shock It was like eating gravel.

ethelb · 17/01/2015 21:07

I have a pantonne bread and butter pudding in the oven as we speak. Otherwise just a few biscuits and the rest of the keg of beer we made...

justcallmethefixer · 17/01/2015 21:13

I have a tiny piece of white Stilton with apricots, 1/2 box of liqueur chocolates & 1 portion (a meals worth) of Turkey in the freezer.
Turkey situation is better than last year, as we ate the last of it on Valentine's Day Smile

Asleeponasunbeam · 17/01/2015 21:17

Just finished the Christmas cake tonight. DCs still have chocolate - it's being used as potty training bribes now!

disneymum3 · 17/01/2015 21:18

Box of heroes
Box of celebrations
Tin of shortbread
Kids still have some of their chocolate they get a stocking full (coins, toblerone, choc orange)

SanityClause · 17/01/2015 21:20

Ooh, I love that salty butter, and could eat it on its own, like cheese. Blush

ByTheWishingWell · 17/01/2015 22:00

What's this salty gravel butter? I'm intrigued!

This thread has also reminded me that we still have chocolate baubles that I forgot to put on the tree. Grin

OhYouBadBadKitten · 17/01/2015 22:15

We have lots of chocolate and biscuits and in the freezer turkey and ham. Also half a tonne of pickles. Also baileys and port as we are doing dry January. Going to make some mince pies tomorrow. Really enjoying our lower food bills.

Nearly finished off the biscuits and chocolates - one final push on Sunday should clear them Grin

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 18/01/2015 09:09

Still got some Belgian chocolate 'cups' that I planned to fill with mousse - but they have a really good use-by date so not worried

And 4 indivudual Christmas Puddings littering up the worktops Hmm . I made one larger and 4 small. We ate the bigger one (mainly because there were 8 of us, if it's just DH,the DC and me, we don;t have one)

The 4 will keep a while.

butter. The butter is Waitrose.

We've still got turkey and gravy in the freezer, I made 6 jars of mincemeat in Dec 13, used two jars each year so far, so two saved for next year.

Brightideas · 18/01/2015 09:45

Oh goodness, me! Still eating full stop.

WyrdByrd · 18/01/2015 09:52

Cracked open the last of the Christmas fizz last night, still have a couple of slices worth of Christmas cake, a box of chocs and a chocolate orange.

Also a jar of mincemeat as never got round to making mince pies - must have a look and see if it'll keep for next year.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 18/01/2015 12:31

Ooh I have a 10p jar of mincemeat that I bought in 2013 Blush when Sainsburys were selling it off.
Needless to say I didn't take up their kind 10p offer in 2014 or 2015.
I'm hoping it'll be okay, when I do get round to using it.
(Delia quick Christmas cake recipe possibly ? )

Still got 2 cans of j20
2 bottles of Bellini
Some conserve and lemon curd
Half a big toberlone.
That's about it!

CiderwithBuda · 18/01/2015 12:59

I'm still bravely ploughing my way through.

Still have some biscuits and chocolates. I think DH ate almost two boxes of quality street on his own.

Have over half the xmas cake left but that will go slowly. We are having a small piece every afternoon with a cuppa.

Lots of random bottles of prosseco that people brought to a party we had mid December.

Some beer left. Wine went as we had my family here!

Two bottles of DH's plum gin.

Some chocolates.but none that any of us particularly like.

A bowl of slightly wizened satsumas. Need to figure out something to do with them.

CiderwithBuda · 18/01/2015 13:00

And a xmas pudding!

WhoKnowsWhereTheTimeGoes · 18/01/2015 15:29

Cider - score the peel in stripes, stick cloves in them, dry them out in the airing cupboard, they'll smell gorgeous and can be used as decorations next year.

Allalonenow · 18/01/2015 15:38

Pasithea Get well soon Thanks

I love that salty grainy butter, all the others seem a bit bland now.

SauvignonBlanche · 18/01/2015 15:41

I'm still eating the Christmas cheese and have an unopened Stollen.

spideysenses · 18/01/2015 19:05

Cider, plum gin? I'm intrigued... Is it bought or have you flavoured it yourself?

HMF1 · 18/01/2015 19:20

Lots of chocolates, some good ones as well. Mince pies brandy butter, bought Christmas puds (we go looking for discounted ones in January, never found a discounted Heston one in Waitrose yet). I never got round to icing the Christmas cake so we have that plus the icing & marzipan. Cheddar that looks like a Christmas pud & some Christmas tree shaped shortbread from a rather naff tin MiL bought from M&S. Some uncooked chipolatas in the freezer & chutney gifts which will languish in the back of the cupboards til next year cos no one will eat them. I am usually more organised but we had an unexpected bereavement who h kind of stopped us in our tracks a bit.
