Kaos Trap

The only thing DS wants from Santa is a Kaos Trap. Waaaaah. Have spent days looking for one online and even phoned Activision to ask if they could help. A lovely man from Game phoned round all his shops bless him - took me 20 mins holding to get through to him though. No joy. I suspect the Iron Fist of Arkus is trying to destroy our chances of defeating the evil Kaos. Can anyone help? Pretty please?

Fucks sake!! Ive been trying to ring the store in Leeds since 8am this morning. They've.just answered and said they had 5 delivered last night and they went instantly this morning,

I was able to order one from game yesterday which should be delivered on Monday. It's been a nightmare trying to get one.

Mine say to reserve in 3 days, I thought it would be Xmas eve?
I have reserved two, one for my son and one for my nephew but haven't recovered any confirmation emails

My confirmation email took about half an hour to come through. The stores slightly further away from me were showing 3 days, which would be Christmas Eve. Luckily DS1 hasn't decided he's desperate for it yet!

I managed to order one from game on the 19th, paid for express delivery and it just arrived! On Sunday! Feel like I can finally relax now.

I saw the thread about these on AIBU yesterday (then followed the link on that thread to here), and hadn't a clue what a Kaos Trap was, so looked on Argos - is this the right thing?

My local Argos (Rugby) had them in stock yesterday so I reserved one, to collect today (now showing as out of stock in ten nearest stores). Assuming it's actually in stock when I go to collect and not on eBay are any of you still looking for one? I can collect and post Royal Mail 1st class today (or even Special Delivery, which I think will cost £7.15 depending on the weight of it) and in theory it should arrive before Christmas. Or if anyone's local enough I can give you the reservation code to pick it up yourself. I'll need to know by 3pm today to give me time to pick it up if anyone wants it.

It's utterly horrible that people are profiting so much from this.

When I recently ordered a lego set which is hard to get and going for 3-4x RRP on eBay, I wasn't allowed to order more than one on the lego site. I think that is very sensible.

I've actually ended up with two genuinely by mistake (had no idea that DH had ordered one for me when they were first released!) but I'm not going to sell it for £50odd, it's wrong.

Thanks Kay! I've gone to reserve it twice now with Argos and each time it's allowed me to but then sends me a message saying ' sorry there is a problem with this reservation'

I'm pretty sure that they're coming into stock and instantly being whipped away by some entrepreneurial shop staff : )
