Kaos Trap

The only thing DS wants from Santa is a Kaos Trap. Waaaaah. Have spent days looking for one online and even phoned Activision to ask if they could help. A lovely man from Game phoned round all his shops bless him - took me 20 mins holding to get through to him though. No joy. I suspect the Iron Fist of Arkus is trying to destroy our chances of defeating the evil Kaos. Can anyone help? Pretty please?

Sadly I was too late yet again. Dh was away so had a crazy morning trying to get kids to school and then rushing late to work. Nothing doing by 8 am this morning. Sigh. Planes - Kaos trap is what you need to trap Kaos, the ultimate villain in the game. You can play the game without it though.

Argos replied to my email about ebay saying there's nothing they can do and appreciating my frustration etc. I took the time to point out that ebay sellers weren't the only ones to be trying to profiteer from desperate parents in the run up to Christmas. It won't change anything but it did make me feel a bit better.

Thanks for the replies - we've not had skylanders before so hadn't properly worked it all out. Maybe I'll buy him a couple of extra traps (but doesn't sound likely that we'll find Kaos).

I have caved in and bought it for way over the odds. When I explained to DS that Santa might not be able to make it he said "oh no mummy. Santa will bring it. He is magic and can do anything. If he doesn't have the stuff to make it with he will magic that too!". Activision, I am officially not your friend anymore! I get the whole rarity demand thing but my 5 year old doesn't! And what about all those 5 year olds whose parents can't afford daylight robbery. Thanks to all you lovely lovely people who tried to help and a merry Xmas to you all.!i hope Santa brings Activision some unwanted socks!

It doesn't help, because they don't have any stock, but argos have put the price back to £5.99. I like to think my series of emails accusing them of profiteering in the desperation of parents helped

I'm not holding out a huge amount of hope for my kaos trap from Italy - it was supposed to be dispatched 2 days ago but still hasn't been. I know a couple of other people managed to order from Italy/France - do you know if yours has been dispatched yet?

Some smyths stores have them in stock according to the smyths website. Not available for click and collect but might be worth popping into your local store for a look?

I'm new to this thread, but showing in stock locally for me in Greater Manchester in Argos if that helps anyone. Reserve and collect immediately it says on website. I'm not in the market for one myself but hate the idea of everyone out there trying to find one and the arses who then re-sell on eBay.

Ah no worries! I'm sure they make these games so complicated so parents don't really understand what the children need. I've also read they have deliberately made them hard to get hold off-the gits!
