She doesn't ask Santa for anything, just had a birthday and didn't want anything in particular. Has got but doesn't play with Lego, playmobile, shopkins, Barbie etc we have loads of stationary and crafts and board games. Has bike scooter pram etc

Any ideas?

have bought my 7yr old niece one of those secret diaries this year
Older niece had a skateboard one year - big hit - and origami book and paper one year , which I loved but she didn't so much. Fave present they've had from parents have always been ipod type things, a small flip camera one year.

Dancergirl Sleeping Queens is not hard to play at all, the rules may look a little complicated at first glance but it is quite easy really. And fun!

In a nutshell: Player are dealt five cards each (numbers 1-10, kings, knights, dragons, magic wands, sleeping potion). Twelve queens are placed face down on the table. The goal is to be the first player to collect five queens. Kings can be used to wake queens (take them from the table), knights can be used to steal queens from another player but dragons can be used to protect them,sleeping potion can be used to put another player's queens back to sleep but magic wands can protect them. My dd has played it well (and loved it) from 5.

There is some simple addition needed (for example if you have the cards 1, 4 and 5, you can do the sum 1+4=5 and exchange those three cards for new potentially better cards from the draw pile, or if you have the cards 3 and 3 you can do the sum 3=3 and get two new cards etc). At 5, we helped dd with the addition but now she can do it on her own.

Another popular (and easy) card game here around those ages has been Rat-a-Tat-Cat, also by Gamewright, mentioned by someone else upthread too I think.

In the summer holidays my dd had a suprising amount of fun with the plate spinning at a circus skills event we went to.

She also enjoyed playing with a [[http://www.amazon.co.uk/LIGHT-SKIPPING-ATTACH-COLOUR-VARIES/dp/B007R6PSCA/ref=sr_1_11?ie=UTF8&qid=1415871306&sr=8-11&keywords=skip+rope this skip rope.

I was also thinking of getting her a lola ball that I loved when I was a kid.

The hula hoop is also a big hit with her.

I might add some juggling balls to her stocking.

The other thing I was thinking was a bop it game

Messed up the links. Basically on Amazon search for;

Plate spinning
Lola ball
Skip Rope

Thanks vikjul it's in my Amazon basket! The pictures on the cards look lovely, I think I recognise the illustrator but can't remember from where!
