Those of you whose DCs are into Minecraft - do you have any decent related non-virtual gifts?

The DCs have been introduced to Minecraft this half-term by a cousin and it has fast become a favourite. I was looking around for some related bits and pieces I could get them for Christmas and some of the things on Amazon for instance look like very hastily put together rubbish to capitalise on the market. Some of the books have terrible reviews. Have seen there are some lego sets. Any suggestions for anything else please?

Some brilliant tips here, thank you. DS now has a diamond sword and cuddly enderman heading from China!

BTW, ignore my suggestion of a hoody from M&Co, Asda now have exactly the same hoody for less than half the price. Angry

Popped to Matalan just now and got a long sleeved tshirt. Only had up to 7-8 left but I got it anyway - he's 8 but I would normally go bigger if poss. They had short sleeved ones too.

I'd be wary of ordering toys direct from China if you have little ones who might put things in their mouths. They have much fewer safety standards there and I know in the US they're quite aware of the problems, but here if you're buying from a UK based retailer they have to pass the European checks (CE mark) so we're not used to it. However toys bought direct from China via ebay etc may not have these checks or conform to the same safety standards. Probably fine for an older child who wouldn't try to eat it, but if you have younger ones as well!
