Notso I'd be really grateful for an ELC code if it's still available? Thanks x

Dragonboobs · 30/10/2014 14:05

Jolly Christmas Postman is £3.99 in Book People flash sale.

BuckskinnedAstronaut · 30/10/2014 14:12

If anyone happens to come across a Sylvanian Families Country Tree School for less than the £34.99 Argos are asking, I'd be very interested. It's not been in any of the promotions I've seen at Amazon (and Amazon price is ridiculous anyway) or JL.

eastmidswarwicknightnanny · 30/10/2014 14:16

Oh Dragon I was avoiding book people as always order too much but now will have to order that!!

Dragonboobs · 30/10/2014 14:26

Ha! I'm in the process of spending about £30 there!!

ButchCassidy · 30/10/2014 14:30

I go away for two days and a new thread.Smile

Limbinthesup · 30/10/2014 14:41

Buckskinned the treehouse is on the lightning sale at 7:30pm tonight on Amazon Smile

Limbinthesup · 30/10/2014 14:45

Before I order from Book People, is there a code I can add to the flash sale? Keep loosing track of which codes are for which book companies!

AllThatGlistens · 30/10/2014 14:46

I still have the ELC code if anyone needs it.

Also, Aldi have Christmas stock coming in on Sunday, gift bags, bows, ribbons etc, all really cheap.

Dragonboobs · 30/10/2014 14:49

book people spend10 gives free delivery over £10 and afamber gives 10% when spending £20 or more.

Dragonboobs · 30/10/2014 14:51

AllThatGlistens yes please!

poppetina · 30/10/2014 14:52

I'm looking for Disney cars / cars 2 / planes DVDs if anyone sees them for a good price anywhere please.

billiejeanbob · 30/10/2014 15:27

Amazon have dropped the price of the baby born bed that lights up. RRP £35 NOW £20. I have just ordered 2 for my dds.

platespinnermum · 30/10/2014 15:31

Thanks EustaciaVye for the 8-9 yr old girl book suggestions - glad to see good old Malory Towers is still going strong, I loved those when I was little! Smile

Littlemousewithcloggson · 30/10/2014 15:31

Just been to tesco and they have Anna and Elsa costumes £13.50 each but there is a £5 off a £25 spend voucher next to all the clothes so £11 each which I thought was brilliant. (so I might have bought 2 of each on 2 different spends)

Littlemousewithcloggson · 30/10/2014 15:33

I always wanted to go to Mallory Towers - didnt fancy St Clares quite so much. Chalet School sounded fun too!

divabroad · 30/10/2014 15:35

Probably old news! Home Bargains had Frozen single bedding in store today.

Weemee · 30/10/2014 15:38

Thanks Norbert... unfortunately that code doesnt work on sale items and the other one did. Guess it was just too good to be true! Thanks tho!! Thanks

wyldstile · 30/10/2014 16:11

De-lurking briefly after you lot saved cost me loads last year - we had a pile of finger lights / spicery stuff / flavourly box / body shop stuff / Glamour magazine / stuff from The Works / the Book People / Home Bargains and a whole bunch of other stuff I would never have known about without Reastie and you crazy people, and I now have an xmas shopping obsession I had no idea existed in me. Thanks (sort of!)

Loobylou3 the Lego Friends Mall is £65 at Argos too, if you've not already found one.

candykane25 · 30/10/2014 16:14

12 candy canes 79p

Thanks for your comments about the gingerbread kits at Ikea. I didn't look in the food section just the Christmas bit. I might go for a wander one evening as only 20 minutes away.

I was in the 99p shop earlier to get my pumpkin carving set and saw lots of Christmas craft sets so going to pop back in there child free to get some sets.

canutesauntie · 30/10/2014 16:25

De lurking to warn you off Very.
Earlier this month I ordered using the £30 off a £60 shop code given in the OP. The website took me straight through the order before I could add the code so I emailed and asked for the code to be applied. No problem they said, we've adjusted it and will show on the statement. It's not on the statement, they've given 10% off one item and won't budge, so I've asked for a returns form and it's ALL going back. I won't be back either.
Nul points for customer service and I think Mumsnet ought to know!

Other than that I think this is the most brilliant thread which I might be a bit, er, obsessed with...Blush

4lovelychildren · 30/10/2014 16:29

They had gingerbread houses in Tiger today for £3. Just add icing and sweets. They also had lots of lovely stocking fillers for a pound or 2. Lots of wooden traditional games too.

BrucieTheShark · 30/10/2014 16:38

Yes canute I had problems with Very. The £30 off was applied and then at the very last moment the visa verification page had added it back on. So I was clearly going to pay the full amount - whether they would have credited the £30 into the credit account later I don't know. But that wouldn't have been much use to me. So I cancelled the whole lot. The chap on the phone seemed to think it was hilarious for some reason.

Then I repeated the process more successfully at isme - this time didn't try to pay in full via card. I'll pay off the balance once I've received the items.

Isme code was 4KN3K for £30 off £60+ for first orders. Did click and collect at random local newsagents - who knew that was a thing?
