What are you buying your DS (4)?

Just looking for inspiration really! Ours loves anything with an engine so we'll be adding to his train track and getting various cars. Also planning to get ikea kitchen between him and dd (1).

fuzzpig - we have a lot of the octonauts stuff - Its actually pretty good quality - easy for ds to use & best of all a lot of it can go in the bath too. Has educational value too as DS is learning all about allsorts of different sea creatures. It gets played with every day.

spook my ds has never watched batman/spiderman but think its just exposure to the merchandise that is everywhere which means he knows who they are. Despite having never seen it he still enjoys playing with the imaginext stuff, its a great toy.

NorksEnormous it was from ebay, its not this years (2010 I think) because I'm not sure if they make them anymore but DS1 is too little to notice or care
