Partylite do a tealight candle one and I think body shop may do one as well

Picturesinthefirelight · 01/10/2014 14:05

Lindt or Hotel Chocolat.

sweetheart · 01/10/2014 14:08

Benefit did one last year

Showy · 01/10/2014 14:08

DH always buys me a traditional one. Usually from the local independent bookshop.

Planetwaves · 01/10/2014 14:10

National Trust have nice ones (not chocolate though!) Smile

PedantMarina · 01/10/2014 14:38

I like this except I'd probably get it in white.

Yankee Candle do one

Selfridges do as well, but I think they're £100+

HoldMeCloserTonyDanza · 01/10/2014 15:18

This is just super traditional, no chocolate or presents:

Orchard Cards have some lovely traditional style ones.

Oooh Pedant I could do that in beer for DH (and watch the squirmy anticipation on his little face when he can't have tomorrow's bottle Wink )

Boots did a Calender last year.
The Benefit one is limited availability and had some nice things if you want mini sizes - but I was a bit put off that 3 of the presents were hair grip or jewellery type.

Last year John Lewis did a ginger biscuit one - it was my advent calendar, and I didn't share at all. Blush I will be looking to see if they do it again this year!

Spirael · 01/10/2014 16:02

We have Lego ones. Grin

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 01/10/2014 16:15

This is the JL biscuit calendar.

Guitargirl · 01/10/2014 16:18

Ooo, I saw that gingerbread biscuit one in JL yesterday, it looked scrummy. I was thinking about getting it to put into our fabric calendar as DS loves gingerbread but some of the pieces are too big.

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 01/10/2014 16:19

I am going to he'd up to JL at the weekend, to make sure I get one. Last year, I was told there were none left anywhere - and then I found the last one!

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 01/10/2014 16:20

He'd up? Head up, obviously. Blush

My lovely husband got me a ginvent calendar a couple of years ago.

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 01/10/2014 16:59

£35 for 25 tea bags?. That is a bit pricy, greenapples!

mrsmilkymoo · 01/10/2014 17:04

Hotel chocolat are good, we get one designed for couples so there are two of everything. Prevents arguments!

RCheshire · 01/10/2014 17:18

Lego

trixymalixy · 01/10/2014 17:48

Going by your username, you may like this.

GinAndSonic · 01/10/2014 19:29

Oooh, some nice ideas here, the gin one looks fab, if a little out of our price range.

FoxSticks · 01/10/2014 20:02

Tbh, as lovely as the ginvent calendar was it was probably a bit wasted on me. I love gin but I'm no connoisseur. I'd probably be just as happy buying a bottle of Hendricks, decanting it into 24 small bottles and making my own calendar. It would have been a lot cheaper and just as enjoyable!

PedantMarina · 01/10/2014 20:10

All these boozy ones does lead me to ask: what time of day do you open your calendar?

Because if it's the morning... Oh dear.
