this might be a nice keepsake for a newborn. Works out at just over £9 including engraving and has really good reviews

BumpKitty · 17/09/2014 16:16

Argos have a few of the Lego friends small bags in their clearance section here and here reduced from £3 to £1.69

Reastie · 17/09/2014 16:21

Phew, I'm now with computer and think I've caught up. It's taken me all afternoon though!

PumpkinsMummy · 17/09/2014 16:27

BuddyKringleberry could you post the link for those hair clips please? They look ideal for making up a few bits. Flowers

Chockywockydoodah · 17/09/2014 16:52

I also went to Primark today and saw some lovely small iPhone-sized manicure sets in lovely cases (panda, butterfly and Owl designs) for £2 and an advent calendar containing a different necklace behind each door for £8, which was a nice idea.

There were lots of nail polish sets and loads of different colours for older girls and pretty patterned emery board sets.

Lots of different designs of Christmas jumpers and some wooden Christmas Reindeer hanging decorations and lights.

Fleece blankets were reduced to £3.90 and they had a lovely bright red owl one.

Annoyed that I didn't spot the Christmas duvets though :(

This is the link pumpkin. I bought the slides too.

BlackbirdOnTheWire · 17/09/2014 18:01

Boots have 3 for 2 on. Playmobil advent calendars are in it (full price 19.99) BUT they are nowhere to be found under Playmobil or 'advent'. I had to enter 'calendar' in the search box before they came up. So I bought two calendars and a Lego £20 set for £40.

Baby Sven arrived. He's perfect - so cute!
Thanks again Norks :)

BuddyKringleberry · 17/09/2014 18:19

Tk Maxx delivery has arrived! Love the Marc Jacobs pouch (£19.99) looks more expensive. Ordered two and may keep one for myself! X

NorksEnormous · 17/09/2014 19:15

So happy to see all the love for baby sven! Smile

BuddyKringleberry · 17/09/2014 19:17

methenyou I just had a look and the gold is sold out but they now have a lovely pewter colour that wasn't for sale the other day when I ordered. I only ordered the pouches to make my order (tmnt pillow pet £12.99) up to £50 so I could get free delivery. Now I'm going to have to go back and order the pewter one for me x

BuddyKringleberry · 17/09/2014 19:17

Are there any xbox experts here? Ds has asked for headphones/a mic (are they one and the same?). Haven't a clue what I'm meant to be buying. Are any headphones compatible with the xbox? Anyone know of any bargains?

Also, I ordered dd an Anna and Elsa dress from China but via eBay rather than aliexpress. They arrived today and I'm so pleased with the quality. They are beautiful, better than the ones in the shops, so much detail and I paid £17 for the two including delivery. However, even though I ordered the same size for both the Elsa is going to be a little on the short size and the Anna dress is huge. Will be fine with some alterations and they're only for the dressing up box so not exactly 'real' dresses but still a bit odd and I suspect there's no one rule with the sizing of the things coming from China so just be prepared!

xmasplanner · 17/09/2014 20:16

My Aliexpress 50cm plush Anna & Elsa dolls and Olaf from Shen yuan's shop have arrived. So, so pleased with the quality and detail - Anna is especially lovely!

Now, I must get Sven and kristoff! Had some problems yesterday as it kept saying seller can't post to my country (England).

daddykyller · 17/09/2014 20:34

Link to some of the womdee scarves. Someone mentioned them before, but couldn't find a link :)

I've seen them in Clarks and Matalan and they sell them there for a tenner and upwards for different styles. Only £1.29 on amazon. They're great :)

daddykyller · 17/09/2014 20:35

@IAlreadyToldYou The headset and mic are the same thing- the mic is built in :)

Laundryangel · 17/09/2014 20:41

I have some bargains to suggest at last!
Ocado have 25% off Toot Toot. I saw vehicle sets, the police station, the construction site & extra track and wasn't even looking IYSWIM. I think th vehicles were down to £14.99 for three. They also have 25% off some Wow toys. I'm sure there are bound to be codes out there if it is your first ever shop. I think I can recommend people & then we both get money off so PM if you'd like me to do that.
Also, M&Co have Nordic style duvet covers & some snowflake ones in both red & grey I think.
When do I start worrying about my lack of Elsa dress? It is three weeks since I ordered it and I haven't had a despatch email yet. DD's birthday is only a month away now...

admiralclingus · 17/09/2014 21:15

I already the headset/mic are one thing. The best you can get are turtle beach and they've got some at a good price on Amazon at the moment

Officially starting Christmas shopping. So excited to be following the bargains threads again! They've served me well 2yrs in a row now!

Question, can anyone remember if Disney reduced the price of their Princess doll set last year? The set looks lovely, but couldn't part with £110 for it! TIA Thanks
