Shopkins crazy TheImprobable! No I didn't know that about Argos - though I still grumble about the cost for crappy bits of plastic! I'll take a look now - thank you for the tip! Thanks

KittyMouseRocks · 16/09/2014 21:08

Shopkins are small collectables kimlo - a bit like Moshies or littlest pet shop.

waithorse · 16/09/2014 21:10

ilove thank you. Bastard Matalan. Sad Angry

waithorse · 16/09/2014 21:10

I'd describe Shopkins as more like Squinkies than anything else.

kimlo · 16/09/2014 21:11

Oh no! I thought we had got over that kind of thing. Dd1 loved moshi monsters, I even sat through the film, it was awful.

PinkSquash · 16/09/2014 21:11

I inadvertently managed to order 6 of the Bastard bloody duvet covers from Matalan and they're being a PITA about changing my orders, so apologies from me as I seemed to have ordered most of their stock. Blush

KittyMouseRocks · 16/09/2014 21:14

Yes, very much like Squinkies Waithorse. The small bloody Squinkies gathering dust in DDs bedroom... Angry

Mylovelylovelyhorse · 16/09/2014 21:16

If anyone should stumble across Roald Dahl audio books at a good price I'd be eternally grateful. Have been searching for a while but no joy. Thought it's time I called in the pros Wink

LlamaLover · 16/09/2014 21:30

MyLovelyLovelyHorse Dahl books and audio CDs here

PoopPoooDeDooo · 16/09/2014 21:45

Has anyone seen Bananagrams on offer anywhere? I fancy them for DD and DS & can it be played solitaire (ie should I buy 2 or will one do between them?) TIA Smile

LalyRawr · 16/09/2014 21:57

WHY did you lot tell me about Christmas @ Matalan?!?

Just spent £50 on things I never knew I needed.

Taffeta · 16/09/2014 21:59

Not seen Bananagrams on offer anywhere but we have it and yes playing solo is fine, you def don't need 2.

snappybadger · 16/09/2014 22:00

Oh poo about the Matalan Chritmas duvet :( How will I find it in case it does come back in stock? Which part of the Christmas section is it in?

Chockywockydoodah · 16/09/2014 22:02

snappy the duvet is in the Christmas Novelties section.

PoopPoooDeDooo · 16/09/2014 22:19

Thanks Taffeta!

This jungle junction playset for £12.99
www.thetoyshop.com/Jungle-Junction/Jungle-Junction-Jungle-Play-Set/p/456699#

And this jake & neverland combo playset for £9.99

m.toysrus.co.uk/Toys-R-Us/Toys/Preschool-Toys/Jake-and-the-Neverland-Pirates-Deluxe-Adventure-Figure-Set/0096464

Spotted the barbie rv camper van for £40 aswell some good bargains there and worth a look if local.

If any of you happen to spot any decent bargains on the imaginext range I'd be greatful as my ds has just discovered these after visiting his cousin and now wants everything imaginext Hmm

TheOneWithTheHair · 16/09/2014 22:24

A warning to people putting links up from Amazon. Sorry if it's already been mentioned.

I added the popcorn maker from a link, sometime before pg13, and didn't buy it straight away. I've just been back to check it and it gave me a warning that it had already been bought from that person's wish list.

Not only might people be buying stuff from other people's wish list but I had access to that person's whole wish list and their rl name.

AndHarry · 16/09/2014 22:35

I was in Tiger today and they;re doing really nice grown-up wooden clocks in the shape of a tree for £7. Bargain if you know anyone who's into that sort of thing or has just moved house.

Hello, have two boys but need to buy for a 7 year old girl (party - I don't know what she's in to other than Frozen). Is Lego Friends for younger children? At a bit of a loss Confused help appreciated!

PinkSquash · 16/09/2014 23:02

I seem to have become greedy Wait I only needed two! HmmBlush I've gone bargain crazy.

Hopefully four will come back online tomorrow morning if they'll cancel it. Grin

Butterfingers We bought these imaginex figures from Ebay, but can only find them on Aliexpress. The ones I bought were seconds and I paid £3.70 for 10, we bought 20, one broke, half had minor defects (hand on back to front, mark on paint) and the rest were fine. My boys didn't notice. They have lots of figures to fill all the bits. They worked for us.

TheImprobableGirl · 16/09/2014 23:37

I missed the moshi monsters as dd is only just coming up 4 :( or should that be :) that I have saved around £70??!?
