Thanks KEGirl! I've decided to chance ordering these two Ana and Elsa toddler dolls for £20.50 which seems a bit too good so will report on quality when they arrive!

AllThatGlistens · 04/09/2014 17:15

Ooh we are on fire with the threads this year!

I've ordered quite a few bits and pieces from Ali Express, I've had the Olaf plush (fab quality) lego chima mini figures, silver earrings, some crafty bits and a naice leather wallet.

So far so good! All arrived within 3 weeks or so and no issues with quality.

WildFlowersAttractBees · 04/09/2014 17:41

I have two £5 off £30 spend at Lakeland codes if anyone wants them pm me .

Lioninthesun · 04/09/2014 18:08

I found this for DD and her bf who have become obsessed with Hello Kitty Mini Kitty house and figures for £9.98 Thanks to whomever posted the headphones too as she is using the cbeebies app on my phone more often and we need to block out the noise!

Wondering if anyone has seen any deals on tomtom or other reliable sat navs?

iloveholidays · 04/09/2014 18:19

Thanks Holly

Rosvita · 04/09/2014 18:26

Argh went back in to sainsburys for something else and ended up buying Twister at £4.50 it was too good a price to resist and their own brand styling head - was reduced to £6.49 and with £5 worth of nectar points I only paid £1.49.dd now definitely done bar a couple more stocking things.

kiwidreamer · 04/09/2014 19:09

Someone up thread was asking about the Tassimo and milk pods, I don't use them, I have a bodum milk frother (about £10 on amazon) - heat milk for about 2mins in Microwave and pump the frother for 30secs or so for yummy, proper milk. You can get battery powered milk frothers that are quite good and then you'd just head the milk in a pyrex jug and froth.

Muuuuuuuuuuch nicer than the milk pods!!!!

eastmidswarwicknightnanny · 04/09/2014 19:22

Rosvita v v jealous nothing reduced in our Sainsbury all toy shelves stocked with new toys n toy reduced section had slim pickings n barely reduced.

Keepcalmanddrinkwine · 04/09/2014 19:29

You can also use a clean cafetiere to froth warm milk, just put it in (not more than half full) and pump it until frothy. Don't plunge fully, about 2/3 down.
:)

Tesco extra instore have laughing Minion Stuart for £7.50. They also had a talking Jessie (Toy Story) for £6. Well worth a look for bargains if you are near a store.

TheOnlyPink · 04/09/2014 19:46

Cute 8GB memory stick for £2.46 with free delivery. They have some other styles too, might be nice for an older child/teen stocking filler.

HopeAndStories · 04/09/2014 19:46

That was me Kiwi, I'll have a look at that Thanks

Methenyouplus4 · 04/09/2014 19:46

Do belle and boo only do girls clothes? There stuff is gorgeous but couldn't see anything for boys/ unisex in the clothes.

Also, a warning about the cheap maracas (sp?) linked, I got some 'egg' style ones which were great but the one with a handle doesn't look like it's for a child, it looks like an iffy holiday souvenir from Jamaica, certainly wouldn't gift it to anyone.

candykane25 · 04/09/2014 20:00

Hi all

I am looking for Happyland stuff for my DD who is one. Any links to offers greatly appreciated!

I saw some playmobil half price at Boots online if that helps anyone else. It's probably too old for my DD.

Ooh, even though my dd is just turned 1 I am buying the aliexpress Elsa & Anna dress, baa.

If anyone sees any playmobil bargains, please holler! Really want some good bits for ds who is nearly 5.

I'm getting the local community knitting club to make little knitted stockings that fit in a packet of e.g. Polos or refreshers & hang on the tree for token gifts for dcs friends-may get them to add initials. It's worth checking local clubs esp if you know any older folk that may be able to give you info!

Highly recommend beer52 from last year-dh loves it, although he loves it so much I'm going to have to keep paying for another years subscription, grrr!

evelynj · 04/09/2014 20:21

Thanks candy-x post, sadly nothing in my local little boots & nowt in stock online but will keep an eye cheers :)

AtlanticDrift · 04/09/2014 20:33

Evelynj what is beer52?

wigglesrock · 04/09/2014 20:35

candykane - keep checking Mothercare, I know they reduce Happyland during their sales. I also got a really good set hugely reduced in Sainsburys last year around Nov/early December.

AtlanticDrift · 04/09/2014 20:38

Thanks theonlypink just got the lolly & guitar novelty flash drive for stocking fillers [happy]

AtlanticDrift · 04/09/2014 20:38

iloveholidays · 04/09/2014 20:40

I've just ordered the plush Elsa and Anna dolls after debating for the last few weeks!!! Grin

Still plan to order a Anna dress, I got the Elsa dress from Asda.

I think there maybe a bit of a theme under the tree this year!! Smile
