Not a bargain, but for any of you with teenage girls to buy for, these glowbeads friendship bracelets look lovely (I saw them mentioned in InStyle).

I think someone one on here mentioned the orchard toys offers in sainsburys Thanks I got 2 carrier bags of them for my puzzle obsessed LO today for just under £10. We are going through jigsaws at a rate of knots at the moment so that should keep her busy for a while.

Just a heads up when shopping at toys r us. I looked on- line last night for a lego star wars set priced £15.34. Went into store today & on the shelf it was £19.99. I mentioned it to a member of staff on the shop floor. They price matched it at the till. So worth checking.

Who ordered the little Frozen figures for cake toppers, from Aliexpress? Are they small/big enough for a dolls house? Ours has been a bit unused lately so may give it a Frozen makeover & get some figures for it Smile

I did Lucysmam - they're all between 6cm and around 10cm, so perfect for a small doll's house i reckon...

Hello, first post on here but have lurked.

I was in Asda today and thought about this thread as I discovered lovely cheap back to school items - not very exciting but I got:

A4 sized rainbow striped mesh pencil cases - im going to put colourin books in and note books.

Disney coloured pencils 50p (also pens)
20 pack of gel pens £1
Scented markers £1.25 or chunky ones 50p each
Twist up crayons £1
Glitter pencils 50p

I also got two Gruffaloe choc lollies from thorntons 70p (not bargains but hey they nice) for stockings

I saw some Skylanders Swap force triple packs reduced but not how much for (sorry just cuaght red bar code labels on them as I passed by) May be worth checking for some up and comming skylander newbies.

My other tip is (sorry you all seem organised if this is similar to stuff already mentioned) I have two cheap glass jars (ikea I think) I'm filling them with cheap midget gems (27p) and 3 4 £1 soft jellies/foam shapes etc to 'layer them up' put bows on and fancy labels (use of craft stuff) to make them look all vintage sweet shop looking.

Off to click on links and not buy anything. Grin

Popped into Sainsbury's earlier and they had the Vtech scout toys for £5.40! I bought DD one a few weeks ago for £10 and I thought that was a bargain. They also had small Sofia the first sets for £3 reduced from £9.99. Non of the orchard games were reduced though :(

The seller was Jerry Chen or Hellojewellery (says both in different places!) They're currently £5.91.

It was me who posted about the map books - pleased that others found it useful! Methenyouplus4 I bought for ds who is 3 but I'd say that was on the young end of the suitability scale - I think pretty much most ages would enjoy them. Have a read of the Amazon reviews to gauge what age others have bought them for?

Update on the Tassimos that I orfered on sat, both were delivered promptly on Tues.
However, the Tassimo that I ordered for my sister leaks so she is going to call their customer services tomorrow.
I was going to give the 2nd one to my sil for her birthday in Oct but I should check it for faults now. Will I
be covered by the warranty if a fault
is discovered after a month? I dont want to open the box before I give it

Any frozen fans near Cheshire? A link to this popped up on my Facebook feed this morning, looks fab!
Frozen in the woods- October half term. what a fantastic way to spend a day in October half term than to talk a walk through the woods and meet princess Elsa. There will be magic and adventure before you all gather round to watch her perform her hit single 'let it go'
Shows running everyday between 25th Oct-5th Nov at Cheshire falconry, £10 per person.
holidays&utm_campaign=hp.com link to where I seen it

My dd would LOVE this! Why do I have to live so far away!!!Sad

MsAspreyDiamonds I can't answer your question about the warranty but our experience is this: we have a Tassimo which we've had for about a year and a half. It's our second one, the first one developed a leak after just a few months and was returned. We looked online at the time and apparently they (were) quite well known for having leakage issues. Our current machine has given us no problems at all and is used 6-8 times daily. We love it.
(possibly all irrelevant and unhelpful...)
