ISpyPlumPie · 06/09/2014 19:40

Everyone who was looking for the Ninky Nonk musical activity train - Smyths have got it for £39.99 (usually £49.99). It's out of stock atm, but they're meant to be getting more next week. Have just pre-ordered one for DS2.

KEGirlOnFire · 06/09/2014 19:41

Can't remember who asked about frozen napkins but dd went to a party last week and they had them. Definitely on amazon but try ebay aswell.

Badvoc123 · 06/09/2014 19:45

Etsy is always a good place to look for personalised and quirky stuff.
I have had a handmade game if thrones b day card made for my bro. It was £1.80 - I would have made more in tesco for a generic card!
I haven't specifically looked for frozen or Minecraft stuff but I know they have lots of stuff.

3pigsinblanketsandasausagerole · 06/09/2014 19:46

GirlWithTheYellowHat · 06/09/2014 20:10

I ordered the ninky nonk train from smyths also. Hopefully it'll arrive in time for dd2s birthday.

Always on the lookout for wooden kitchen item bargains like sainburys salad last year

Not a bargain, but when I was looking for photo cards I saw that Moonpig have frozen cards that can be personalised.

PickleMobile · 06/09/2014 20:31

I was in Asda this afternoon and they were clearing some shelves ready for back to university stuff. I got some amazing bargains, such as a Rapunzel bag for 25p(!), sistema water bottles (large and small) for £1 and 75p, Minnie Mouse water bottles for £1, Hello Kitty and Spiderman snack pots for 50p, big craft bags full of stickers, feathers, pipe cleaners etc for £1, Disney princess felt tips for 50p. Great for stocking fillers!
They also had non bargainous Frozen bracelets, necklaces, hairstuff and birthday rosettes which my dds will love!
Then i popped to Poundland and they had Frozen nail varnish. (can you see a theme here??)
At The Works, they had Disney Fairy colouring books and stickers for 99p, plus Frozen wrapping paper and books suitable for older children. They also had some great looking Usborne activity packs and some Christmas craft, such a paint your own sun catcher things for 2 for £1.
Oh and i had my firsr drink from my Tassimo today and it was fab! Thanks to whoever suggested frothing milk in a cafetiere - genius! I thought of you lot, esp Reastie as I slurped away!

Olivo · 06/09/2014 20:47

Can't see that it has been mentioned, but for lovers of Lego friends, on amazon, the dolphin cruiser is down from 59.99 to 45.99( and I got it for 38 as we are VAT freeSmile). I am now wondering about Olivia's house which is 69.99 down to 49.97.......

Can a girl have too much Lego? Blush

nickdrakeslovechild · 06/09/2014 20:49

Been without internet all weekend so sorry if its already posted as haven't read through the updates since Thursday night yet, but home bargains have the Frozen Busy books for £3.99. Also found the frozen chocolate bars in poundshop so also half way there with the stockings. Has anyone seen the frozen colouring book anywhere?

Harrin · 06/09/2014 21:01

Tesco has a Frozen party wear range in for whoever is looking for the napkins

JerseySpud · 06/09/2014 21:02

Hello fellow Jersey Bargain Hunter!!

JerseySpud · 06/09/2014 21:14

Its so hard to Christmas Shop over here isn't it?

Olivo · 06/09/2014 21:15

I know, I get so envious of people talking about Sainsburys and home bargains!! Usually do at least one trip to mainland each year but haven't been over for months........ I NEED to go!

JerseySpud · 06/09/2014 21:34

I was over last month to do some shopping and now im back to relying on amazon. Don't know how old your kids are but Homemaker is good for bargains at the moment

TeWiSavesTheDay · 06/09/2014 21:56

In Aldi today they had an extra room with clearance items up to half price - I assume these will be different in each store but I saw character activity books (Spiderman etc) for 99p nice kids joules style coloured polos for less than £5 and a nice large mirror with decorative frame for. £11.99 they also had school clothes.

I got DD1 some total bargain waterproof winter boots for £3.99 but it was the last pair there!

EverythingCounts · 06/09/2014 23:02

parentallyinept · 06/09/2014 23:14

nickdrakeslovechild - The Works have Frozen colouring books in, IIRC they were £1.99. They also had Princess Anna secret diaries, and the Frozen busy books. Definitely worth a lookSmile
