IdahoHasMyHeart · 02/08/2014 12:01

Woah that's amazing YaMas! I'm going to stock up Grin

MooseyMoo · 02/08/2014 14:17

Thanks for the Stila sale tip. I've bought the lip gloss set and will split into three gifts. One for key worker at nursery, SiL and ... Me Smile

JiltedJohnsJulie · 02/08/2014 15:32

Ally I have a contribution, albeit very small. Sainsburys have Moshi monsters magic flannels for £1.33 down from £2. Useful if you want a bit of tat in the stocking Smile

Allyblaster · 02/08/2014 16:34

Not sure if this has already been posted but today in my local Sainsbury's the Play Doh drill and fill set was reduced to £7:99. Think it is about £16 on Amazon at the moment. They had got some Play Doh sweet shop stuff reduced there too.

LucyTheValiant · 02/08/2014 17:01

Debenhams have some quite large discounts on luggage at the moment - not necessarily Christmassy but there were some good deals in store, online here

BeanyIsPregnant · 02/08/2014 18:18

My local wilkos had average size tubs of play doh for £1, or 3 for 2, which seemed like a good deal.
They also had 3 for 2 on kids crafty bits, like modelling clay, own brand play doh, the play doh tools, paint etc :)

PinkSquash · 02/08/2014 18:41

The ELC soft stuff is a really good alternative to play doh, ours is 7 years old now and refuses to dry out or go bitty. Our 3 year old play doh has become a horrible texture but you're probably not meant to keep it that long are you? Hmm

buddles · 02/08/2014 19:21

Shock my play doh or ELC soft stuff dries out after a few months

But then I hate it when it dries out or gets hard to roll. The soft stuff is £4 for four tubs but I got four tubs of play doh (roughly same size) in The Entertainer (or was it Toy Barnhaus [hmmm] for £1.75 Grin

God I love these threads! I have just ordered the Stilla lip glosses, thank you Gwendolyn

Methenyouplus4 · 02/08/2014 20:26

Just wanted to thank everyone for all the great links. I'm pregnant with twins who will still be tiny at Christmas and have two other dc so unlikely I'll get to shops! Especially love all the stocking fillers from Amazon as normally spend hours trailing cheap shops to find such stuff.

I'm sorted for main presents for dc2 (wooden shop I bought about 5 years ago for ds1 and forgot about)! Twins also sorted for main present (super tiny so they each have a big puppet which is more for whole family)!

Thinking an ipod for ds1 (9) for his birthday (November) and a decent docking station for Christmas, any links would be much appreciated.

I bought the Lord of the Rings Lego board games at my local B&M bargains for about £8.

Please let me know if anyone sees any bargainous slides, swings or seesaws. Dd would love something like this for her birthday - it'd need to be sturdy and a fairly tall slide because her brother would use it too and he's almost 8.

daddykyller · 02/08/2014 22:15

Seen this one doing "the rounds" so thought I would share it in here too, as it's a huge price drop:

Vktech New LCD Digital Alarm clock calendar thermometer LED Backlight
£1.36 + £0.69 shipping (92% off RRP)

IdahoHasMyHeart · 02/08/2014 22:31

Thanks daddykyller Thanks. Just got two, one for me and one for the inlaws :)

I just saw this Mickey cookie cutter for 31p with free delivery. I bet there's more options around cheaply as well. Good for stockings/hampers?

IdahoHasMyHeart · 02/08/2014 22:48

Was just looking for some other cutters and came across this stocking cutter which for 41p and free delivery would be good for Christmas bakes.

IdahoHasMyHeart · 02/08/2014 22:51

Sorry, last one from me tonight I promise! I just got this free kindle book which I thought as I think you all love Christmas like me, you may like it Grin here

IdahoHasMyHeart · 02/08/2014 22:52

Oh just noticed it's only 25 pages! Sorry, will go now Blush

RJnomore · 02/08/2014 23:27

Don't apologise - its free! And xmassy!

daddykyller · 03/08/2014 00:16

RJnomore · 03/08/2014 00:23

These look lovely at 88p delivered - I'm not quite sure how you pick a colour or style but I am going to order one to see what happens.

FernArable · 03/08/2014 07:55

RJ you just click on the picture of the one you want before adding it to basket, the price will change but only by a few pence.
I'm going to hop on this thread if that's ok, probably won't be very helpful but it helped me out so much last year. Already ordered a few bits this year!

freedom2post · 03/08/2014 08:26

Just bought a mickey cutter and an alarm clock.

Which seems a weird combination - esp this early on a sunny Sunday morning.

This thread makes you do strange things Grin

wibblyjelly · 03/08/2014 09:21

2 LCD alarms bought, one for us and one for the in-laws caravan!
