buddles · 02/08/2014 08:28

Hello can I join in? Grin

I started my Christmas shopping last month with three bits for DS in the Mothercare sale (I since gave him one of them as he found it Blush) July is the earliest I've ever started!

Last year I had all presents bought and wrapped by Dec 1st and I'm aiming to do the same this year Grin

Will keep my beedy eyes out for bargains to post here!

freedom I ordered an Anna dress (the one she wears for the coronation) but I'm not too impressed TBH.

It's a nice enough dress and DD would be thrilled with it, I'm just disappointed that it's not as good as the picture. I'm currently in a dispute with the seller to arrange either a partial or full refund (it looks like it'll be a full one at this rate as the seller is not responding).

Here's pictures of what I ordered and what I received, they're more or less the same, it's just the finish isn't as good as the advertised dress.

Hi Yama, thanks for that and for posting pictures Thanks. I can see what you mean by a difference in quality.

Can I ask how much you paid? And do you think the costume will last for a while or is to poor quality?

YaMasYaDaWithAWigOn · 02/08/2014 09:04

It's actually a really nice dress TBF although I'm not sure how long the glitter decorations would last. I think the dress itself would certainly last, I'm just disappointed it's not really what was advertised. Can't remember exactly what I paid but it was between £7-7.50 so I feel a right miser complaining Blush but as I say it's just not the same as was advertised.

freedom2post · 02/08/2014 09:11

Its definitely not the one that was advertised yama so you are right to complain regardless of price

Baddderz · 02/08/2014 09:20

How much was the postage?
I think my niece would love that dress :)
What is the sizing like?
Is 4T age 4?
Thanks

www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B00HPK2SDK/ref=pd_aw_sims_9?pi=SL500_SS115

2 tiny telescopic pens - would make good stocking fillers for older kids or teens
47p free delivery

YaMasYaDaWithAWigOn · 02/08/2014 09:45

Baddderz postage was free, took about 3 weeks to come. Not packaged the best, just shoved into a plastic bag but I think that's why you get it free.

I ordered the 4T for DD, she's just turned 3 but wanted it for Christmas so ordered bigger so ideally she'd have got a bit of wear out of it. It is too big for her ATM so I'd say the sizes are true.

PinkSquash · 02/08/2014 10:37

Just marking place again as this fell from TIO. Hope everyone is enjoying the holidays!

No bargains here fully, just this offline for DS1 at £4.99

Trying to figure out what to get DS2 for Christmas, he'll be almost 3 and has everything he needs. He is enamoured with a ride in Jupiter, but at £200, it's out of the question.

Baddderz · 02/08/2014 11:05

Thanks.
I like the elsa dress...

LottieAndTheDinosaur · 02/08/2014 11:45

Baddderz · 02/08/2014 11:46

Just ordered 2 thank you x

IdahoHasMyHeart · 02/08/2014 11:47

I was just looking around the site Mipe linked too and saw that the 50p bundle code takes £4.50 off this other Lipsy set, though you have to pay delivery so the total is £6.48.

SpottyTeacakes · 02/08/2014 11:50

Hmm wonder if it'll get refunded!

YaMasYaDaWithAWigOn · 02/08/2014 11:56
