My LO is scared stiff of Gadget, hopefully she will start playing with it soon.

JerseySpud · 30/07/2014 12:42

Just come back from asda (collecting the 600 pce Lego box that someone recommended on here for £15 - thank you!) and they've still got quite a bit in their sale. Was someone looking for Octonauts? Peso's pod is now £5.97 in asda, also quite a bit of Barbie and Sophia the first stuff reduced. I picked up Barbie with 2 dogs for £5 (from £12.99) and they also had ballerina Barbie for just £2.50 (from £5). Not in the sale, but still a bargain was the Little Tikes Doctors Kit for £5, looks identical to the early learning one which is currently £16.

Just popping on to say that dotcomgiftshop has a Christmas decoration sale!
I had my sale order from there recently and was impressed by my £4.95 wipeable tablecloth and pretty £4.95 bunting! I got them for me (blush) but they would make lovely presents!

KEGirlOnFire · 30/07/2014 15:40

Thanks Petal7, just ordered some lovely decs. Smile

IdahoHasMyHeart · 30/07/2014 15:45

Thanks Petal7 Thanks. I managed to get 12 Christmas bits and a tablecloth for about £24 :) Bargain!

Petal7 · 30/07/2014 16:10

KEGirlOnFire · 30/07/2014 16:44

If anyone is wanting to shop on the SportsDirect sale - there are some nice things on there and apply a discount code of PERKS20 for 20% off.

Just scored some lovely Skull candy ear buds for two boys presents - hard to buy for but i think this will do!

Thanks to the person who posted about the sale.

On the Joules Ebay site, they have some slippers for £5 (inc delivery) which are very lovely and soft. Full price £20. Only down-side is the sole hasn't got any rubberised grip underneath, it's kind of smooth suede-type sole.

Lovely JerseySpud - thank you for that code :)
Will come in handy.

I've just seen on amazon you can get 6 of those magic hatching dinosaur thingies for just 80p (and free delivery): SODIAL(R) 6x Cute Growing Hatching Magic Dinosaur Egg Add Water Child Inflatable Toys

And on ebay there is a seller (99.6% positive feedback) doing an android tablet for £29.99 Gemini 7 inch tablet
The site describinng it says it's not top notch or anything- well I kind of guessed that might be the case lol- but would be good for my 7 year old to lay games and watch stampy longnose videos on. (don't pretend you don't know what I mean :) ) My current phone is about the same spec and handles all that kind of thing fine.

cookiefiend · 31/07/2014 01:06

BHS Instore had some kitchen gadgets like a cake pop maker, whoopie pie maker and mini coffee maker for £5. A bit gimmicky but for a teenager or baking hamper or something they would be ok.

kavv0809 · 31/07/2014 01:27

Just a quick aside on the My little Pony equestria dolls. My DD is mad about these but she has had two dolls where the leg came off (reviews on Amazon say common problem) and they don't push back in like Barbies do, they are effectively wrecked unless you want to start messing around with glue. I wrote to Hasbro and have to say they have been brilliant. First one they replaced no questions asked, second time they sent her a much higher spec model that sang songs etc. Worth going back to them direct if there are any problems.

BigFootFiles, thank you for the 'Joules Slippers' Link. Just ordered some for my friend - she loves Joules stuff and was talking recently about how cold her house is in the winter and these will be perfect for her!!

of course I may end up keeping them myself

IdahoHasMyHeart · 31/07/2014 09:26

Ebay has lots of different garden games like boules, giant dominoes, snakes and ladders, croquet, archery etc for £5.65 and free delivery- here

IdahoHasMyHeart · 31/07/2014 09:28

Also if you buy one you get another one with 25% off

IdahoHasMyHeart · 31/07/2014 09:30

Sorry, I just saw that it's only the plastic boules that are £5.65 Blush The others aren't that expensive though.

Barbeasty · 31/07/2014 10:49

If people are after Elsa dresses and want the Disney one then give your nearest disney store a call. They'll tell you when their deliveries come and then you can phone and reserve a dress to collect for 24hrs, if they have one in the size you want.
