Rumours · 29/07/2014 16:22

AFFANCY gives you 10% off a £40 spend at thebookpeople and AFBRAVE gives you £3 off a £30 spend at the bookpeople. Both end 31st July I think.

IdahoHasMyHeart · 29/07/2014 16:28

Thanks for the link to Fragrance Direct Rumours Thanks I wanted to get the Ciate nail varnish advent calendar last year but didn't get it in the end, and it's on the FD site now for £16.99 instead of £25.99. It's here if anyone else is interested :)

Mynameismary123 · 29/07/2014 19:11

I've been reading this thread for weeks and decided I'd post my first message to thank you for your bargain tips. I've just purchased the ciate advent calendar looks brilliant thank you. Must share the hot diamonds sale I've just ordered some earrings (maybe for me) and a lovely pendant for SIL. Love that I've found like minded christmas fanatics so I don't have to put up with the eye rolling from husband and friends.

Gooseysgirl · 29/07/2014 20:46

Jakes of Soho are doing 40% discount at the moment www.jakesofsoho.co.uk/pages/men-sizes
My DH loves the tshirts from here but the are quite pricey normally so now is a good time to stock up!

Gooseysgirl · 29/07/2014 20:48

Haha Mary123, I met friends for lunch last week and I got the eye rolling when I said I had already started Christmas shopping... but it was the best thing I ever did last year when DC2 was on the way!!!

LokiBear · 29/07/2014 21:06

I love being organised! I make no apologies, during term time my life is chaotic and with a 3 year old DD late night shopping in November/December is impractical and weekends are a nightmare. In reality the next few weeks of the summer holiday and the October break are the only time I have to properly plan Christmas, so I do! I love a bargain too. I will sit back and be smug when the eye rollers are stressed and twitchy in November!

EvilHerbivore · 29/07/2014 21:39

I started a spreadsheet today of what I have bought, who its for, what it should have cost and how much I actually paid for it! I like seeing the difference between the 2 columns - £93.50 worth of presents for DSs so far for £28!

JiltedJohnsJulie · 29/07/2014 21:42

Just spotted this playmobil advent calendar. Sadly its a bit too pink for my DS Smile

PickledMoomin · 29/07/2014 22:22

£12 shipping Jules!

SayHelloToMyLittleFriend · 29/07/2014 22:23

Amazon have the my little pony feature rainbow dash for £12.96, it's rrp is £21.99. I've ordered it for my dds birthday and thought it looked pretty good for the price.

Reastie · 30/07/2014 07:12

jilted that is a fab price for the advent calendar, but postage is £12 something Shock so it ends out regular price, just a cheeky way to lure us into buying. I am looking for a playmobil advent calendar, but they never seem to get that cheap, if anyone spots on please let me know Thanks

evil it's a deeply satisfying feeling isn't it Grin

KEGirlOnFire · 30/07/2014 07:13

Oh Julie, I got all excited then until I saw the postage!! Grin

Is it too early to advise that if you're really sad like me if you log onto Boots.com on Xmas Eve (in readiness for Xmas 2015) you can get some great bargains. They didn't have the entire sale list available but had some big bits on there early.

I got the Playmobil Princess Castle for £50 instead of £130. Shock

So thank you to the person who messaged me to say that the school can now be added to your basket in Boots - Playmobil School is now winging it's way to me and will actually be for DD's 6th birthday (next June!!).

Evil, I have a list on the pin-board in my office (luckily I work from home otherwise my colleagues would think I was crazy) and recently moved my office around and forgot that I'd even written it. Because of that some people have more than one present now - ooops!!

But (and this maybe a step too far), all the presents I got in the sales after Xmas are wrapped and tagged and in boxes in the loft ready to hand around. Does that make me a little obsessive??!!

KEGirlOnFire · 30/07/2014 07:17

My problem with your threads Reastie which is clearly not a problem at all Wink is that I can't seem to stop looking at them, so even when DD has MORE than enough presents, I come on and order more!! No wonder people are starting to say she's spoilt. What they don't realize is that I've spent considerably less on my child than they have on theirs!!

KEGirlOnFire · 30/07/2014 07:35

Lottie, I wonder if we know the same person Wink. I ordered a Frozen nightie from her and her DD gave my DD a Frozen swimming costume for her birthday.

I ordered for the first time from Aliexpress yesterday. Another swimming costume (the pink Anna & Elsa one) and the Pink nightie because DD loves both so much.

I really like the look of the green Anna dress aswell (the fancy dress one) but I will wait and see if the two items I've ordered arrive first...
