If anyone sees doll playset with a cot/highchair etc for a baby doll, please let me know! DD's 2nd birthday next month and I know she would love one, as any boxes she comes across at the minute are turned into a cot! ELC have a set but it's £65- don't want to spend that much! Toys r us have one half price down to £29.99- just want to see if there's anything cheaper before I order Smile

Icantcook · 13/07/2014 19:06

My local WH Smith had some Horrible Histories pencil case sets in the clearance bins for less than three quid. Would make an ideal stocking filler

nickdrakeslovechild · 13/07/2014 19:17

norks that set is always reduced at some point. I got it last year for about £26. Keep watching it.

CauldronOfFrogsLegs · 13/07/2014 19:18

Can't get out and about at the moment so if anyone knows of any good online deals for doc mcstuffins things that would be awesome! Thank you!

nickdrakeslovechild · 13/07/2014 19:18

Can't remember who was looking for baby Annabell, I saw them reduced to £29.99 in sainsburys today.

NorksEnormous · 13/07/2014 19:20

The ELC one nick?

coffeetofunction · 13/07/2014 19:28

Norks we have the doll's bed (Duktig) from Ikea which my DD got when she was 2 - still used often after a few years. £16 inc bedding. Sturdy enough for some toddlers to try it out for a nap!
Duktig doll's bed

nickdrakeslovechild · 13/07/2014 20:32

Sorry norksyes the ELC one. They do a half price sale then an extra 20% off. It's ok, the buggy is nice and the high chair is good but small. The bouncy chair is rubbish. Ours fell apart after 1 day.

nickdrakeslovechild · 13/07/2014 20:34

Ooh yes we have that ikea dolls bed. It's lovely and really sturdy. We painted it white and made pretty cath kidston bedding for it Grin

Ratbagcatbag · 13/07/2014 21:26

I was in toys r us earlier. Lots of 50% off.

Ones that I recall

Steffi huge campervan £29.99 from £59.99 (suitable for Barbie dolls)
Barbie jet ski - £13.99 from £26.99
Barbie dog show set thing £12.99 from £25.99
Disney tangled doll with 3ft of hair, £10.99 from £21.99.

NorksEnormous · 13/07/2014 21:55

The elc set would be good if it was reduced, as I have her 20% off birthday voucher to use too!

The ikea bed is lovely- considering maybe getting it and a then just getting highchair separately! She already has a pram and a carry car seat thing so it's mainly just a bed and a highchair she needs

Picklesauage · 13/07/2014 21:59

Hi, long time lurker for the past 2 years! Just wanted to add
www.netpricedirect.com. They have excellent stuff all year round.

Picklesauage · 13/07/2014 22:23

Sorry should be
Netpricedirect.co.uk not .com

It has some amazing savings, there are some doll bits which someone was looking for. And the crayons twistables mentioned before too.

Happy saving.

Roundbales · 13/07/2014 22:26

Considering doing a watered down version of elf on the shelf this year...would ideally like a cute soft toy instead of the doll. Anyone seen one, don't want to pay more than a £10.

EvilHerbivore · 13/07/2014 22:38

Just bought this for our big kid at heart family friend, its a batman iPhone case that does some extra bits, gets good reviews, its now £1.49 down from £20 here

YaMasYaDaWithAWigOn · 14/07/2014 00:20

Roundbales just been looking for an elf for you and came across this monstrosity

MooseyMoo · 14/07/2014 08:47

roundbales This is the Gund Elf I found last year which is not in stock yet but there is an email alert you can set. Just over budget at £11.99 but it looks lovely

xalyssx · 14/07/2014 09:08

Roundbale if you wait til nearer Xmas, Tiger normally has some pretty cool elves in stock.

WisemansBridge · 14/07/2014 09:14

norks, last year they had a lovely mamas and papas dolls high chair for £6 on amazon, I think it was around November/December time as part of their daily deals. It's really good quality - durable and sturdy. Maybe keepa look out for it this year.

Petal7 · 14/07/2014 09:53

Longtime lurker here too... I adore this thread!

Roundbales, we got a soft elf from Ikea last year, about £4. Had a quick look and they have one that is quite fairy like at the mo (in soft toys) but maybe more elf like ones will come in nearer to Christmas. Ours was a huge hit last year!
