I bought this car in Home Bargains today for DDs Sylvanian Families for £3.99. Just the right size and cheaper than the Sylvanian branded ones.

BobPatandIgglePiggle - I think the duvet sets are expensive, but last year I got Christmas throws for my kids. Dunelm mill had some lovely ones and ebay had a few as well

coffeetofunction · 15/06/2014 20:18

Any seen any nice high heels, suitable for a 7 year old? DD is desperate for a pair & all I've seen is tat Wink

lucysmam · 15/06/2014 21:19

coffeetofunction is there a Deichmann shoe shop near you? They often have little girls spangly heels (maybe 1inch high ish) for between the £10-15 mark ish. I'm going to get my girls a pair each for Christmas.

HaveYouHeardOfGoogle · 15/06/2014 21:21

306253 - tangle teaser here for £3.93 free delivery

lucysmam · 15/06/2014 21:24

this sort of thing? They often seem to have more variety in the shops than online Smile

WisemansBridge · 15/06/2014 21:43

daddykyller (or anyone else who might know), how.is the watermelon purse minecraft related if you don't mind me asking? My dds love minecraft but I've never heard them mention watermelons! Any info would be gratefully received!

WisemansBridge · 15/06/2014 21:44

I saw a tangle teaser copy in pound land, no idea if they're any good mind!

coffeetofunction · 15/06/2014 21:45

Lucysmam my friend got a pair from there but she said they weren't great (not sure exactly what that means) & the fit was poor so I've been put off... Wonder if any else has had a pair Smile

HaveYouHeardOfGoogle · 15/06/2014 21:53

Coffeetofunction - not sure what sort of style you're looking but these look quite nice and come in a couple of different colours. Maybe not sparkly enough if that's what she's after.

heels from Very

TenMinutesEarly · 15/06/2014 22:18

Accessorize often have little girl high heels in.

lucysmam · 15/06/2014 22:37

Oh Sad . My oldest is on an emergency ten quid pair of school shoes from there atm (seven weeks to bloody go & she decides to have a growth spurt Shock !) . They've been alright so far, won't last past the end of the school year but apart from scrapes at the toes they're wearing well. Maybe the different styles aren't so good. I've a lush pair of boots from their Halle Berry (sp?) range, they're doing well too.

I'll have to have a look elsewhere for sparkly shoes that won't break the bank.

Wiseman I saw the poundland tangle teaser too, couldn't make up my mind whether to try one.

I've been using this website a lot. It's like ebay but only for Chinese suppliers, so just like ebay you need to check your sellers ratings and feedback and it takes along time to arrive but I've had some great bargains. Lots of people selling the same stuff, at very different prices and lots of free postage or minimum $10 (£6ish) from their store. I'm only ordering cheap stuff, I wouldn't risk any money I wasn't prepared to loose, but 50 orders in and I have not lost any money.

Necklace I got the black one, it looks lovely.

Hulk mask lots of different masks available.

Dress thick t-shirt top part and the skirt feels synthetic but nice, probably size 10-14. I know that's not really for Christmas Clothes come up very small, even children's clothes, shoes, jewellery. But then I am just a bit big, but my dc aren't! Lovely children's clothes, lots of characters.

I also got some lovely acrylic rings 50 for £4.22, but that seller is gone, lots of other people selling similar.

They sell everything, loom bands in unusual patterns, scarves & bags, lego superhero hero figure sets, watches, fat quarters buttons & ribbons for crafters , Finger puppets.

Make sure when you get to the payment page, on the page you put your card details you change the currency/picture of a coin on the bar in the middle at the top of the box, a drop down box will give you an option to pay in £, that way you won't get charges from your credit card. Disclaimer, I'm telling you where the button is from memory I could be a little out.

Wow that's quite a post, I am Scaredy a recovered Amazon addict, my shopping void has been filled with Aliexpress I have LOTS of new sunglasses and squashed hats

Thanks haveyou

MsBug · 15/06/2014 23:10

A Christmas thread? In June? Are you lot mad?

also just bought a bird keyholder

xalyssx · 15/06/2014 23:20

Wiseman you can grow and eat watermelons in minecraft.

ValiumQueen · 16/06/2014 05:18

I have two Poundland tangle teasers and they are ok. The top falls off a lot but they do the job. I also have a genuine one that is a bit more comfy to use, but the pointy bits (it's early, forgive me) are all bendy and look really scruffy. I would get Poundland ones again as you always lose the flipping things so it is good to have a spare.

Reastie · 16/06/2014 06:49

scardy that site is AMAZING! Just had a quick nose and founf aqua doodle for £3.71! (not the branded one here, but still looks amazing value especially with free shipping). I can see my day going looking on here!

sesame street count and crunch cookie monster £12.99

dandelionsRflowers · 16/06/2014 09:10

Poundland Tangle Teasers are terrible. They're hard and uncomfortable. Glad I tried it on myself before dd. Dd uses the one shaped like a butterfly atm, think it's Knots No More, bought it from Sainsbury's for about £6.

dandelionsRflowers · 16/06/2014 09:12

Knots No More
