Thanks monkey wench. I like the middle one (was looking at that colour anyway!). I really like the big ones but my handbag's not that big (the bigger my handbag, the more crap I put in it!).

Have just ordered one of the owl bags for best friend, mini microscope for DH's stocking and 2 od the sackcloth purses.

Tesco have £5 off a £20 on selected bedding saving comes off straight away even the frozen bedding is in the offer. Spiderman set is cheap only £7

Guardian Offers
Haven't looked at all of these, but the mens boots are fabulous. I bought them for ds1 last year (29) and he has lived in them. Two pairs of mens, leather chelsea boots for £40.00. I have just re-purchased for Christmas this year. Ds has a black and a brown pair, says they're really comfortable and appear to be hard wearing.

handbag inserts

I have bought one last week from this seller so will update the quality.

I am going to use it as tote to keep all my filofax related gubbins in

Think I've been hacked PLEASE do not buy one of those slings!!

There was a report done on the Ergo rip offs on fake Britain a few weeks ago where the cheap stitching ripped and the dyes were toxic.

A few of the sling groups I'm on also include people whose babies have had near misses in these, its also worth noting if you are buying an Ergo that only places listed on the Ergobaby website are officially licensed to sell them.

Has anyone seen any deals on the vampire diaries DVDs/boxsets? My teenage daughter has become obsessed Hmm

chanie44 · 08/06/2014 19:43

I went to home bargains today:

Meccano tubs for £13 - amazon have similar sets for £17, although I'm not sure if it's the same set. I'm going to grab one next time I'm there.

Light up yoyo's for 49p

Vehicle Construction set (similar to meccano) for £5.

They also had those money tins (the ones you need to cut open) for 79p (Disney princess and cars). Most other shops I've been to are £1.

PickleMobile · 08/06/2014 19:58

littleelf I've had a scout round and amazon is the cheapest at the minute at £35.99. If you don't mind second hand there are some on Gumtree

Or keep an eye on hotukdeals as they have been on offer lots in the past. Just search for it every now and again.

littleelf123 · 08/06/2014 20:05

pickleMobile Thanks!

littleelf123 · 08/06/2014 20:08

Anyone know where I can get any decent stocking fillers for my girls? They are 15, 9 and 5, normally get them out of poundland but for the two little ones, they dont last two seconds Hmm

chanie44 · 08/06/2014 20:37

Little elf - many of the bargains on this thread come from the Far East, so take a few weeks but cost around £1 and feedback is that the quality is good.

I've grabbed some bargains in the accessorize sale in previous years for girls.

The tesco voucher thing works ok for me- anyone else having trouble? Maybe it has to be on a computer and not a mobile...

Just tried to find it on mobile and it is a different link- maybe this one will work? on.fb.me/1kIRVvb

@Littleelf: What about a loom bands kit? Just £3.17 from amazon
Loom Bands Friendship Bracelet Kit - 600 Latex Free Bands + 24 S-Clips

and if they already have a kit, then maybe more bands? They have 1800 bands and 75 clips for £2.54 on there too

Failing that, or even to add to that- I love the look of these bracelet things, and they're just 97p delivered :) : Fashion Leather Woven Bracelet with Charms-Pink

lucysmam · 08/06/2014 22:56

Do any of you know if you can set up more than one wishlist on Amazon? I want to set up a list for dp of bargainous jewellery bits and bobs I like Grin

RhondaJean · 08/06/2014 23:01

Yes you can Lucy, I have a general one for things I spot for other people, one to share with DH for bits I would like, one for DH and each dd.

lucysmam · 08/06/2014 23:03

Brilliant! I'll have a look tomorrow morning on the laptop (bigger screen than my phone) and set one up. Thanks Rhonda Smile

RhondaJean · 08/06/2014 23:07

Just checked on my iPad - if you click the wish list drop down menu there's an option to set up a wish list, not sure how many you can hav ebt definitely a few!

JerseySpud · 08/06/2014 23:09

Ive got 4 different ones. One for me, one for dd1, one for dd2 and then a private one for gifts for others for me to keep track of
