Smiths have loads of cheap stuff at the mo - adults books for 25p, 50p and £1!!

And some lovely Laura Ashley notelet sets/stationery sets/notebooks/memo pads etc all half price at £2.49.

lucysmam · 13/05/2014 23:07

Quick placemark before bed...shall be back in the morning to read thread. Thanks for the early start Reastie Smile

ChubbyKitty · 14/05/2014 00:16

Liking the sound of £3.50 barbies for my niece and cousin!

I'm thinking of getting everyone a fancy storage box this year and filling it with little bits, my grandma did this for me last year. It was a Hello Kitty pouffe (which is now my chocolate stash box) and she filled it with chocolates and jewellery and other treats.

That's plausible right? I probably won't be buying everyone a pouffe but something along those lines. Pound stretcher have cheaper foldable ottomans usually which could work.

daddykyller · 14/05/2014 00:26

WOOHOO- new thread lol- only just noticing - it was starting to get very lonely in that other one

daddykyller · 14/05/2014 00:28

If people are buying lots of toys for birthdays and Christmas, then they might need batteries. This is a good offer I think: 30 AA + 20 AAA for £10.95 from an ebay seller:

ebay.co.uk 50 DURACELL PROCELL 30 AA + 20 AAA BATTERY ALKALINE PROFESSIONAL BATTERIES

daddykyller · 14/05/2014 00:29

Also found this while searching for presents for someone, there are loads of deals on toys at the moment on amazon:
70% off Moshi Monsters (Really big savings here)
50% off Barbie
50% off Sylvanian Families
50% off Theo Klein pretend play
35% off Baby store
25% off Dophie Giraddee Gift Sets
40% off Revel models
33% off Thomas the Tank Engine
25% off Barbie 30% off Melissa and Doug
20% off Miniland
25% off WWE figues and playsets
25% off Max Steel
25% off Casdon pretend play stuff
Amazon Toys

ChubbyKitty · 14/05/2014 00:34

Daddykiller that battery deal is amazing. I could just take them along in my bag and whip them out like the magical electric fairy!

Or wrap them, and be normal.

glenthebattleostrich · 14/05/2014 06:29

Is it wrong that when I spot something online my first thought is ooh must tell MN!

From martins money saving email a new online pound shop. Had a little snoop, looks similar to poundland but they bring the stuff to you. I may never leave the house again!!!

www.hereforapound.com

Enter the code MSEFREE and you get your 11th item and delivery free. Looks like some nice little stocking fillers on there.

DrankSangriaInThePark · 14/05/2014 06:33

Hello lovelies!

Reastie! You national treasure you!

I am shamelessly marking place as have no intention (ha, famous last words) of starting just yet, but can I just say, that those bloody finger lights are still dd's favourite present from last year!!! All 83p of them! I am going to stockpile them for all her friends this year.

Would finger lights be ok for children aged 4 on up?

Sounds like something my nieces and nephews would love.

I bought Christmas decorations last month. Am trying verrrry hard not to buy any more for a while...

DrankSangriaInThePark · 14/05/2014 07:06

Oh we are evangelical about them Holger! dd is 10 and loved them.

They are so cool! Look at the Chinese sellers on Amazon, that's where we all got them from last year. Take a while to arrive, but we have time!

supermariossister · 14/05/2014 10:50

www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/1625587.htm

Doc mcstuffins tshirt Argos £1.99 sizes up to 5 years I think.

MooseyMoo · 14/05/2014 11:32

Sainsburys have 50% off their own brand pretend play items. I saw the wooden mixer £4.99, wooden pans both £4.99

WHSmith have 25% off all Lego and when I bought a Daily Mail (for free Lego) I got a £5 voucher (valid with spend of £15 on kids books, toys, games & art)

ThinkIveBeenHacked · 14/05/2014 11:36

Hello for another year!! Marking place and off now to read the thread.

notso · 14/05/2014 12:45

Yay marking my place and craving a mince pie!
I started with stocking fillers this week. The 60p shop AKA 99p outlet store had Mike the Knight colouring sets, Christmas bouncy balls and Angry Pig Star Wars colouring and sticker sets (as well of aisles of complete crap).
I also got Spider-man onesies for £3 from Primark.

3bunnies · 14/05/2014 13:11

I am getting the dm lego polybags for party bags. At 60p a go they are decent party bag present. Requires access to a few WH Smiths and toys r us. They often sell excess bags off in the week or so after the deal too.

CheeryName · 14/05/2014 13:23

The Grinch is alive and well.... man in front of me at WH Smith didn't want his Lego - he was really abrupt with the cashier as well so I didn't dare to ask him for it. But what an arse! ITS FREE LEGO!

Gooseysgirl · 14/05/2014 15:24

www.elc.co.uk/Wooden-Cottage-Kitchen/135580,default,pd.html?cm_mmc=email--elc--20140514-_-outdoor

£50 off ELC country kitchen. Last August I managed to get similar one for £85 with 15% off £100 spend so might be worth holding out! Good bargain though..

TwllBach · 14/05/2014 21:32
